tldr: if there was an app where you could log beers you drank, what sort of features would you like to see

EDIT1: a lot of people are answering from the perspective of "what you should do to get the most users" which, though a fair thing to say, isn't really my objective. this just an idea I want to realise, but the "idea" I have is too nebulous to build a full app around, because what I really want is to just have a form that I can search for put in beers and count, and then see like a letterboxd type stat sheet. so wanted to see if there's other stuff someone would like to see in an app like this

the concept of logging stuff you do is already beaten to death so i'm not doing anything too innovative here, but i've been turning the idea over in my head since my first year of college and i'd be too drunk on weekends to actually work on it (hyperbole, mostly) and now i have some free time to actually make something. i don't expect it to take off or anything, but still wanted to ask people so i'd have a better idea of what'll be generally useful, than implementing whatever comes to mind.

i was thinking of having like a quick-log thing where you can add multiple beers and a count thing, maybe a global feed of currently popular beers, a friends feed where you can see reviews of people you're following etc. idk, what do y'all think

Hi, I'm flying varanasi to nagpur today, and all flights seem to have a stop at Delhi and a change of aircraft. this is my first time experiencing this, and I wanted to know:

1. is the check-in luggage transferred automatically between flights or would I have to take it and do that again at delhi

2. it's different terminals at Delhi for the arrival and departure. I'm guessing there's no internal transfer and I'd have to go through security again?

I have applied for special round and filled choices trichy-warangal-rourkela-surathkal-calicut-mnnit(cse)-mnit-mnnit(csai). wishful hai so assuming i get nothing from here, which college should i take between nitd and iit dharwad.

datapoints i'm considering abhi tak:

1. nit delhi is in delhi, to zyada companies aati hain, ya aati hongi based on what i've heard and what relatives have said
2. iit dharwad is a huge campus with guaranteed hostels, and the net fees would be much cheaper than nit delhi. that + iit ka tag

koi guide karo, like any thoughts you have etc.

I'm a buffoon and keep forgetting standard identities etc if i don't drill it in my head every few days or so. this is a problem when prepping for an exam or something because i'm doing like a lot of subjects and some don't rely on the technical math stuff, so if i do them for too long and come back to solving math questions i start blanking again.

all that to say, does someone here have (the link for) a good deck that covers all of calc 1, preferably also containing trig identities and stuff? it's fine if it's more than one deck ig. i'm using stewart's calculus for my studies so something that aligns with it, in terms of content covered, would be great. anything helps though, thank you

got the custom truck paint mod to work and put some cumtown stickers and a CMTWN license plate on my ride. thinking of giving it a marlboro racing -esque paint job now. thinking if it's worth it to learn modding to put in cigs as a consumable item in the game

1. i downloaded the game off steam today, and the options menu seems to be misaligned, ie, different options are scattered around, which would be fine stylistically if it would atleast let me cycle through with arrow keys, but if i press down when i'm on the leftmost one, it won't really go down to an option further down but to the right. all this to say, is this how it's supposed to be, or is it broken for me because i'm playing it on linux through proton. because the options were like a list when i played the game a few days ago through let's say questionable means, though i suppose that was an older build

What are the provisions for the stipend that one receives during the mtech period. specifically:

1. is the stipend tied to the gate score, or the degree (as in, if i want to switch to another mtech, do i avail the stipend even on the same gate score, or do i have to qualify for said degree on another score)
2. if i leave the institute mid degree for another mtech, do i have to return any stipend paid till that point

tldr: is cosmicbyte blitz an okay controller for linux pc's & ps4

my dualshock4 failed on me and i wanted to get a replacement controller. looked at kreo mirage first and it looks decent but the rating is sub 4 and there's not that many reviews so it felt shaky, but cb blitz has a decent rating with substantial review count so i veered towards it. most reviews say it's great for pc etc but almost everyone uses windows so i just wanted to ask if someone's tried it on some sort of linux system and if yes is it fine. i'm fine with some tinkering but like, just want to make sure it's not unusable on that platform. any other suggestions are welcome too

my mom ran her finger along a length of fibre that was discarded while we were getting wifi installed, and I think a shard or strand might've gone inside her finger. like she immediately yelped when it happened and a bit later we looked with bright lights and stuff on the surface, I think I found one really small shard doing that, but her finger hurts when she puts pressure on the tip. what's the recommended course of action. I'm concerned about it travelling along in bloodstream or whatever, but not really sure what the chances are of something like that.

Hello, here's a recipe i wanted to make for mother's day:

Spinach & Basil Pasta with Cottage Cheese Sauce Yield: 4 to 6 servings

INGREDIENTS
Salt
1 lemon
8 ounces whole-milk cottage cheese (1 cup), at room temperature
3½ ounces grated Parmesan (1 cup), plus more for serving
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
1 garlic clove, smashed and peeled
3 ounces baby spinach (3 big handfuls)
2½ ounces torn basil leaves (2 packed cups)
1 pound spaghetti or other long pasta

PREPARATION
Step 1 Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, zest and juice the lemon into a high-powered blender or food processor. Add the cottage cheese, Parmesan, oil, garlic, spinach and basil. Blend until very smooth (in a food processor, this can take up to five minutes).
Step 2 Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente according to package directions. Scoop out 1½ cups of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and return to the pot. With the blender running, pour ¾ cup of the pasta water into the cottage cheese mixture and blend until smooth.
Step 3 Off the heat, add the cottage cheese mixture to the pasta. Toss vigorously until the pasta is coated in sauce, adding more pasta water as needed until glossy. Season to taste with salt. Serve topped with a drizzle of olive oil and more Parmesan.

TIP Since you're getting a blender or food processor dirty anyway, use it to grate the Parmesan too: chop the Parmesan into big chunks, then pulse in a blender until ground. Take some out for serving, then add the rest of the sauce ingredients and proceed

the problem is that i cannot find basil anywhere around me. i was also looking up cottage cheese but apparently what they mean is american (creamier, from my research) and not what we have here (india) which is like thick and sliceable. could someone guide me on substitutions for both?

i picked the recipe because i was looking some something that didn't feel too simplistic but also didn't have like a huge skill ceiling and too many moving parts, and like this was what i found. if it cannot be salvaged by substitutions i'd also appreciate if someone could link pasta stuff at a similar level to this i could look into

A week or so ago I installed simpleui, and since then I've noticed issues such as

• clock being rendered on the lockscreen sometimes when I press the power button
• battery being rendered on the top right when reading a book, with a blank space around it which I have to flip page forward/backward and flip back to fix
• book covers frequently being reset to the default and having to be reloaded in the file browser
• similar ui glitches involving half rendered menus or dropdowns

has anyone else noticed something like this? it could be a frequency illusion that I'm noticing more of this happening since installing simpleui is the one change I've done to my system in a long long time, but atleast the book cover thing did not happen this much.

legitimately insane novel, melville knows so much that I could easily imagine the book being twice it's size. the norton critical edition that I had talks about the references and how and where might melville have studied or encountered them, and it was a kind of a trip going through them.

also that one chapter about gay sex, he really might be the greatest to ever do it
