Simple Design: Automatic Respawn in Nether for essentially infinite lives

Simple Design: Automatic Respawn in Nether for essentially infinite lives

I was wondering about trying a "start in the Nether" challenge, and this isn't a complicated mechanism, but I think it's the easiest one to make sure you always respawn there as long as you keep the chest full of glowstone blocks. The dispenser faces the portal spawn block.

Music mute button

maybe put the mute button there, or maybe in an easier to reach spot in the main pause menu. I'm always having to turn the slider down for whatever reason, so i don't even listen to the minecraft OST half the time. or even just have an option to set somewhere in the menu where you can toggle on or off whether music always mutes in the pause menu or in the title screen

4 bit binary counter

all parts should be visible in the picture. whenever you press the button, it counts up by 1, the pistons are the digits

the design has been around for a while, but it's compact and nice to remember. you can extend it towards the left as much as you want, just keep the pattern going, the 2^0 place is the rightmost in the image

edit, sorry, all parts are not visible, there's a redstone torch under each piston which attached to the side of the cobblestone. you can tell because you can see the effect of it powering the redstone wire

Inventory slots in a hopper should be able to be enabled and disabled like the slots in a crafter, to give the option of having a hopper with just one inventory slot.

Very often, a lot of design problems could be solved with a hopper with one inventory slot, so the ability to either enable or disable any of the 5 input slots would be the cleanest way to improve the hopper functionality without losing any functionality. A hopper with disable-able slots would also be backwards compatible with all previous builds by just not disabling any slot.

or, maybe what i'm trying to do requires not only limiting the number of slots, but the stack size. so if both the number of inventory slots and the allowable stack size for any given slot were both changeable (inventory slot can be enabled/disabled, stack size for a given slot can be changed to 0, 1, or max for current item), that would be it. This would probably open things up to different types of designs in general

By vegan logic, if going vegan is absolutely better than going nonvegan, then going breatharian is better than going vegan.

The premise of going vegan is that you are going to not consume any products in a certain category so that you can shrink the industry that makes those products. Almost all food production has some negative environmental impact or some negative impact on some living beings. Vegans say that they cannot consume any animal products because they can't participate in such a "cruel practice", but adopting breatharianism would be living that ideology to the fullest. I'm sure the vegans say "we can only minimize harm, and we still have to consume what's necessary", but since some people cannot get all their necessary nutrition from a vegan diet, then vegans should be advocating for people to go nonvegan. But, vegans say they never advocate for people to go nonvegan. Vegan logic is very inconsistent, and it would be much better to either admit you are part of a fundamentalist cult, or leave the fundamentalist cult. It's not my concern what you do, though. I'm happily nonvegan after seeing veganism for what it is.

Simple Defense Idea, Lava wall

Combine it with a push button door and then you have a solid cobblestone wall behind a lava waterfall. Not too hard to set up.

New strat (to me as of just now) for destroying caged end crystals in the dragon fight:

I've looked up lots of tutorials, never saw this tip.

I am not sure why I keep checking out this subreddit. I'm quite confident in my conclusion that it's safe to assume the majority of vegans behave like irrational cult members. There's no talking sense into them. You can't have an open conversation with them. I think I'm just sick of their arrogance.

title is 300 characters out of 300 characters. That's all I wanted to ask. I don't know why I care. I care about animals and people suffering, but vegans haven't solved that problem yet. I do seriously care about those problems, and vegans talk as if they are serious, but they are also very toxic to interact with. I guess I wish there was a group of people that cared about tackling those problems about human and animal suffering, but vegans are surely not the group of people who honestly care about that. I suppose a group of people that says they care deserves harsh criticism when it turns out that they really do not act as if they care. Like, if veganism was a solution, breatharianism would be an even better solution.

I've got a few goals in hardcore mode, but they are a bit risky. I want to beat the ender dragon, survive a village raid, and beat the wither. Any surprises to be expected in this?

I've beaten the end dragon before on regular survival, but it took a few deaths before I succeeded. I've never survived a village raid, because I either died or had to flee and let the village be overrun. I've never summoned a wither.

Some people say the dragon is not too hard, and you can just kill him with an infinity bow. I want to over-prepare with a stocked ender chest, my plan is to have stacks of cobblestone, a few potions, empty bottles to collect dragons breath, a water bucket, jack-o-lantern helmet, infinity bow, max enchanted weapons and armor. There's a lot of info out there.

For village raids I've seen people use crossbows as rocket launchers.

For the wither, I don't know what to expect.

I use facebook for legitimate social purposes. So, I do this to fight back against the bad parts:

The website is designed so that if you come back to the facebook home page feed after a few minutes, it automatically refreshes like a video lottery machine to keep you hooked to it. I have started sending in dozens and dozens of bug reports to facebook about this, because well, it is a bug. The page keeps refreshing on me. They need to fix the bug. I can't submit enough bug reports alone though, so if you want to help, feel free to send a few hundred bug reports to let them know there's an issue.

I like this seed for hardcore mode. Has nearby town, piles of clay, some diamonds to start.

The seed is -8365911078555341577

At the spawn there is a pile of clay you can mine and sell to a mason. At 400, -200 there is a village with a lot of villagers. If you go into the big open cave with glowberries on the ceiling that starts down past the waterfall and a bit of a ways in, then down over the clay and water and to the right of a lava stream, there are some diamonds.

I'm just taken aback by the arrogance. I honestly didn't expect the vegan to say this to me (I am nonvegan).

Not sure what the best flair is. On some level it's funny that the person thinks that going vegan is that "one weird trick" God doesn't want you to know about morality if all vegans are morally superior to all nonvegans, but on another level it's just so off-putting for a person to say this.
