Hi everyone,

I have proton installed on my iphone and MacBook. It seems I am unable to have anything load on the internet on my laptop, and my phone is no better. This has just started happening within the last day or so. I have deleted and reinstalled it on both my phone and laptop and nothing changed.

What's going on: while proton is active on my MacBook, it is unable to load websites. The little loading bar on the screen goes a little bit and then stops and never fully loads. Similar thing on my iPhone. This happens on my personal wifi, and just now at a coffee shop. When it is disconnected on both devices, my internet works immediately with no problems.

Any solution anyone can think of?

My brother is getting married next weekend, and I am the best man. unfortunately, due to circumstances FAR out of my control, I can't make it to the wedding, so I will have to record my speech and send it to the DJ to play.

I am here looking for a review of my speech, mayne see if there is anything I can change about it before I record.

Hi everyone,

For everyone that doesn’t know me, I’m Bill, Mikes favorite brother, best friend, and most importantly, the coolest guy he knows.

It’s pretty cool that he’s getting married today, hi Meg! I didn’t think he would make it here tonight, mostly because of that time we were kids eating ravioli at the dinner table, with our dad was in the kitchen. All of the sudden I hear weird noises coming from Mike right next to me, I look over, and he’s choking!! Anyways, I was far too concerned with eating my own ravioli to do anything to help, so it took Mike to bang on the table to get Pops attention. Clearly, he made it and went on to get married to the coolest girl I know, hi Meg! 

Another time I thought he wouldn’t make it to adulthood was when he ran tooth first in the support column under the porch at the house. What felt like an earthquake was really just little Mike smashing into the house. I don’t know what was more impressive: the force with which he ran into the house, or the fact that his front teeth were fine! The tooth marks are still there if anyone wants to go check it out!

And I can’t mention growing up with Mike without mentioning our famous, deadly, and painful wiffle bat lightsaber fits in the backyard. Walking out of the store with two new wiffle bats was the coolest feeling, both of us knowing what was to come when we got home. The ball? We didn’t need that. All we needed was the backyard and the bats, and we would fight damn near to the death until the bats were bent and broken. Good times.

As we got older, we kinda drifted apart in high school, although Mike would still brutally torture me by spraying ice cold water from one of those squirt guns. I remember the gut wrenching terror watching him climb through the bathroom window trying to get me after I locked the door on him… Yeah… anyway he’s totally sane. 

We reconnected when he went to college at northeastern, and I was left in the dust trying to claim the spot of the coolest kid in town. College is where he met Meg, I believe it was in his dorm with the shotgun shell string lights that I would love visiting. I loved Meg right off the bat when I met her, so when Mike texted me on march 5th 2018, saying that he was going to marry Meg, I knew he was telling the truth. Now I don’t know if Meg just gave in to the nagging or if she actually liked Mike, which I find hard to believe, but for some reason, she stuck around long enough to make his text come true. But if she wanted to stick around with him, she’s got to be the toughest person I know, mentally I mean. Meg keeps him grounded and human, both things equally important and impossible with Mike.

Jokes aside, they work great with each other, they love each other, and they make a great pair. I’m sad I can’t be there to celebrate with you guys, but everyone, raise a glass and toast to the new bride and groom! Good luck in your marriage, Meg you’re gonna need it, and I know that both of you make each other better every day.
