[18] Advice on facial asymmetry
The most noticeable asymmetry for me is in my eyebrows and eyes. Please, could you advise on how to improve this situation without going to a plastic surgeon?
About the causes: I have mild scoliosis (1st degree), which led to a malocclusion, which in turn worsened my facial asymmetry. Also, I recently realized that I have nighttime bruxism (teeth grinding). Since childhood, the muscles on the right side of my face have been working worse, and that side now looks more saggy.
I'm already doing preventive exercises for my back, and next month I'm going to the dentist to start working on my bite alignment.
Is there anyone here who has dealt with a similar issue? I'd really like to know if there's anything I can actually do about it.
To be honest, what scares me the most is the fact that the bone structure of my eye sockets is just crooked. But I don't want to despair, so I'm going to do everything that is within my power.
