Love Letter meaning

I was listening to the bonus track Love Letter, and while I love it a lot, I still can't seem to understand what she's trying to say and I don't see anyone talking about it😭

"Told me not to make a sound
But if there was a limb to sever
I would cut it off right now
And I'd give it to you, my love letter"

I promise I'm not usually dense to metaphors, but why is she cutting of a limb while being quiet, and why is she giving away said cut limb? as a love letter?? Could somebody more poetically inclined explain?

Part time jobs for international students?

Hi, I'm an international (from EU) student at TU/e and I am desperately looking for a part time job in Eindhoven. I don't have any crazy requirements at all, I'm only looking for something that I could do alongside my studies, yet I can't seem to find anything.

From what I have heard from other people (international students), it seems like no grocery store wants to hire you if you don't know dutch, or fire you after the first 3 months because of not knowing the language. And from what I have seen they only seem to want to hire teenagers, which I kind of get, because I'd have to be paid double of what they make just because of my age (I am 24).

If anyone has any lead or tips on where to look at, it would be very very helpful. Thanks!

Jobs as a student

Hi, I am only making this post because I feel a bit desperate and don't know where else to talk about this.

I am a first year international (from EU) student at TU/e and I am currently working at Picnic, that and the DUO grants being my only source of income for rent and everything, as I'm not getting any financial support from my parents, and I am feeling like I simply can't go on like this anymore.

I never expected to ever feel so physically bad from a job ever in my life, I did not know what I was getting myself into, my back and my knees feel like they are about to give out any second. I have been working at Picnic ever since I came here when the university year has started and my physical being has gotten worse and worse since working here, getting home after every single shift so exhausted to the point where I couldn't see straight or stand up anymore, after spending more than 9 hours at a time there, plus 40 min biking commute each way. Not even to mention the mental toll on me as a whole, everyone making you feel inferior for not being fast enough, strong enough, tall enough, and not being able to focus on my studies like I was planning to.

The thing is I have tried and applied to other jobs like restaurants or cafes, before at last applying to Picnic, and even during the year when I was feeling like I couldn't take it anymore, but as you can expect as a first year student I don't yet know that much dutch yet so I was rejected from all of them because of that, and don't have that many meaningful skills to think of trying anything else.

I have applied for student assistant positions for the next academic year at TU/e which I'd hope to get, but that wouldn't help me cover the working hours throughout the year to continue getting the DUO grants, without which I won't be able to pay for rent or food.

I am starting to feel like I am simply at a loss of options, and even considered going back to my home country just to not have to work here anymore, but I love everything else here, I love studying here and would like to continue doing that, I made friends and a boyfriend and would really not want to just leave.

So if you have any suggestions I would really appreciate that!
