Kept thinking this would make SUCH an amazing movie only to find it’s another piss poor King adaptation already. EDIT: I’d love suggestions of his novels or other short stories that have similarities to The Good Marriage

Thanks in advance, I’ve loved marimba forever and it’s never too late to start!

Never realized how much I love this kind of music- such a mix of genres, spy music, Polynesian/hawaiian, tango, Cuban, Spaghetti Western, can use “exotic” mysterious scales/modes/diminished/chromatic without sounding abrasive, can use minor without sounding too sad, major not too happy, amazing rhythms to keep things moving. It just be from my age-music like this was futuristic/exotic/dangerous sounding in the 50’s so as a kid in the 80’s it was still that but also nostalgic and retro too. Looking for more artists/comps like this- doesn’t have to necessarily be as easy listening/cinematic as this. It can’t just be Tom Waits/Marc Ribot, Waking Life Soundtrack, Severance/Dexter theme music composers. I also realize that I also just love marimba and vibraphone a lot.

Goals are weight loss AND health. I have trouble making it past 12 hrs without sugar free cough drops/gum/soda. Details in comments. Thanks in advance!
