How'd I do? So many more species to find, but I think it was a successful year!
New house. Never dealt with ToH before but I’m assuming their leaves don’t fall green if they’re happy?
I bought this mystery catasetum at a plant show in March. It was sold just like this: bare roots in a plastic bag for $20. I’ve always been intimidated by this genus but figured for $20 why not? I potted it up and it proceeded to immediately yeet all its leaves over the course of a couple of weeks. I figured this was probably a failure and have admittedly neglected it for the last couple of months but I just noticed while watering today that there’s a little pseudobulb forming!
