How to eliminate the 11p feed?

Baby is 4.5 months, EBF. A month ago, she could go from 8p-2/3a between feeds. Then I suspect the sleep regression hit and she wakes up every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I started feeding her at the 11 PM (because she would wake up crying) and it’s been going on now for over two weeks. We are currently feeding at 8p, 11p, 2/3a, 5-7a. She got her four month vaccines last week and that night she went from 8p till 3 AM so I know she can do it. We have tried to send in my husband to soothe her at 11p, but it’s a crying mess for 45 minutes. She is pretty good about putting herself to sleep. We lay her down awake and she plays with her hands for a little bit, then finds her thumb and falls asleep. Last night my husband bottle fed her so I could get some sleep. She took 3.75 ounces at 11 then 4 ounces at three. Could it be she is just hungry? Feels like a long growth spurt?
We don’t feed to sleep (except overnight). At bedtime, I feed her in a different room then put her sleep sack on and lay her in the crib drowsy but awake.

She sleeps an average of 13.5 hours in 24 hours. She does only 30 minute naps about 4-5x/ day.

Tips on backing off the 11 PM feed? Should I keep pushing through until solids? I need sleep! We are open to sleep training we just don’t know how to do it if she seems hungry each time she wakes up.

Some thing to change?

Baby will be 4 months next week and we plan to sleep train the following week. Currently she goes to bed between 8:30-9p. Maybe 40% of the time she wakes at 10:30p-ish but we just pop pacifier in (10% of the time we have to rock her and can get back down). Then she wakes at 1/2 to feed then 5/6 to feed. After the last feed she goes back to sleep till 9-10a! Usually 9:30a. I keep seeing needing to have a consistent wake up time, but if we want 7:30a for example I should go wake her up from a dead sleep? Currently the waking up at 9:30a works for us as we get stuff done in the mornings. She naps 4x for 30-45 minutes. We lay her down awake and she puts her self to sleep. The wake windows start at 1.5 then increase till 2.5ish before bed.

I guess my question is if it’s ok to keep letting her sleep “in”? Will that affect sleep training? Keeping her awake after the 5/6 feed wouldn’t be ideal because that’s too early for us to start our day.

Sunflower lecithin worked!!

Wanted to share an encouraging story. I never had issues with clogged ducts for the first three months while exclusively breastfeeding. When I went back to work three weeks ago, I started pumping every 3 hours. Everyday, I’d come home with a huge clogged duct in my right breast. I tired a different pump, different falanges, different tubing, heat 1 minute before, icing, breast massage, comb massage, and hands-on pumping. Nothing helped. It would take baby about 2-3 feeds to work the clog out.
I finally tried sunflower lecithin as recommended by my lactation consultant and much to my surprise, it worked!! I took 3-4 tabs per day till the clog was gone. Now I take 1-2 per day as prevention and I haven’t gotten a clog at work in 9 days!!
I nor my baby have had any side effects.

Difference between CIO and FIO?

I’m new to Reddit and a new mom- I have a 3.5 baby who isn’t the best sleeper. Starting to think about sleeping training when she is 4ish months. I’ve read several threads about sleep training, but am seeing a lot of acronyms like CIO and FIO- not sure what they mean!

We loosely follow wake windows.. she usually lasts 1.5 hours and only naps exactly 45 minutes- no more. Which is exhausting, but I’m told napping improves later. At night, she is still waking every 3ish hours. Between 8:30p-1a, my husband goes and soothes, then I’ll feed her the next time she wakes (I can’t tell when she is hungry vs just finishing a sleep cycle!!) around 2/3am then again at 6/7a. Then she zonks out till 10/10:30a. When she cries over night, sometimes her eyes are closed but I’m to the point I just feed her so we can all go back to sleep but I know that isn’t good long term. She can self soothe and finds her thumb especially in the early mornings.
