Restoring CD30 MP3 from CarPlay aftermarket unit

Hello, sorry if this is a stupid question, first time replacing radio unit on my Corsa D 2006 1.2. Currently it has CD30 MP3 with GID display (bigger one). I bought a new unit with CarPlay because I had enough of FM transmitter terrible quality. My question is will I be able to switch back to my original radio unit if this carplay disappoints me without an issue? Won’t it require security code? Previous owner failed to provide me with CarPass card and having no security code might be problematic if it requires me to input it.

CarPlay for 2006 Corsa D

Hi, I’ve owned my Corsa D from 2006 for about a year now and what I really miss is having a better audio quality from my phone. Unfortunately my CD30 MP3 doesn’t have AUX inputs on its back so I can’t install a jack, so I guess my only option is getting a CarPlay installed. What bothers me though is that I might loose some of functionalities like auto AC or board computer stuff. Does anyone have any recommendations for units that won’t make me choose between functionalities? Or is there a better alternative to FM transmitter which gives horrible quality?

ECC registered on AB350M Pro4 & Ryzen 5700X

Hi, I got a great proce offer for 2 16GB RAM sticks (snp1r8crc/16g), but from what I see they are ECC registered RAM. I couldn’t really find information if these are possible to use on consumer platform, but from my research it seems like AMD didn’t artificially block ECC RAM on AM4. My question is if this setup will work? I currently have 2x16GB and 2x4GB sticks so having 64GB total by replacing these old 2x4GB would be nice ;)
