TW for pictures of my ears.

so, initially i posted about how my ears were infected/irritated by a spray supplied by Banter, which was what i was given at the mall kiosk. it can be found here.

the piercings were only 4 days old (got them Wednesday & took them out on Sunday). they were 14k gold studs/spheres, which were pierced w/ a piercing gun and had butterfly backs to them. i saw everyone's feedback on how those are all TERRIBLE for your ears, so i'm glad to know that going ahead.

my aftercare routine was to only use the spray supplied by Banter, as the woman at the stall was telling me how it "would do everything for me b/c of the medicine in it." well, obviously not because it ruined my ears.

i had to take the piercings out of my ears b/c, shortly after i posted to reddit, it looked as if they were sinking into my ears. they were so swollen! and after that, my third piercings began to gush bleeding, so i wasn't going to attempt to put the gold piercings back into m ears or get another piercing b/c they'd close up by then. right now, as shown in the pictures, they've scabbed over.

my concerns are:

• should i leave them like this (scabbed), or is there anything i can do to help with the healing process?
• do i attempt to put the piercings back in? i'm already assuming "no," but many of my friends told me that was what they did after theirs were infected.
• how long is the estimated healing time? i got these b/c i'm going away in July, but now i'm assuming i should wait at least a month or two to try again.
• how much of a pirate do i look like with my 1 1/2 piercings (two firsts & now only one second).
