Pattern is the Mysterium tee from dear ingenue. The yarn is a silk yarn I found on Etsy. I live in the southern hemisphere so it’s cold right now but should start to warm up soon.
This is my first post like this so I hope I do it right.
I’m usually a one meal a day faster, my longest so far was 72 hours, I tapped out because of what was probably keto flu. The blue moon inspired me to make a concerted push this month and yesterday I passed that keto flu stage and was feeling great. Still feel good today.
I’m doing what could probably be considered a very dirty fast since I’m drinking Pepsi max and use sugar free chewing gum (my medication makes my mouth dry which the gum helps with). I’m taking 500mg magnesium daily and I put (some?) table salt in my diet soda, just playing it by ear for amounts. I’ve ordered some proper electrolytes that will arrive early next week.
I want to push myself to a whole 30 days so it’s from one full moon to the next, that feels spiritual to me, but I’m also aware that this is my first longer fast so plan b is rolling as long as I can go fasts until month end with some bone broth if I feel like I need it. I was 129.5kg on the 1st now 125.3, according to my TDEE I should lose just over 2kg a week actual fat loss. I was 136.8kg in mid March when I started OMAD so I’m happy with the fasting journey so far. I don’t really have a plan for refeeding, I guess I’ll burn that bridge when I get to it.
Pleione by Audrey Borrego. I don’t know the yarn because it was unlabelled mill ends from my stash. I tried to make it a bit tighter and longer than the pattern because my mum doesn’t like super loose or cropped tops but I messed up the gauge and it was an even closer fit than I intended (there should have been about 6cm of positive ease but it ended up being negative ease). Still it fits her and she loved it, we had Mother’s Day early last week so I could visit for the Labour Day long weekend.
Between the ears and the tail she still got plenty wet but it helped a bit to keep grass off her belly which is what I needed most
