I’m sure many of us have seen the >!“Dbeard” leak!< in northland bank. As @sobiinsan pointed out on twitter, when you invert the color scheme of the leaked textures, it looks just like the crow mask and feathers that O!Dottore wore. Another very interesting thing about these textures, is that black and white feathers tie back to M.C. Escher’s paintings, someone who has been referenced many times throughout Dottore’s existence. And the last thing, when you invert O!Dottore’s outfit, the color scheme appears more black, blue, and white than before, this color scheme is the color scheme of Dottore’s leaked “Lotus Flower” mask. The lotus flower symbolizes rebirth, which is what Simulanka’s storyline for Zandik seems to be pointing to.
that’s all i have to say he was so cute with his little scarf and white sweater i wish we had gotten to see what his outfit looked like under the coat but with him missing from that final shot of the segments it gives me hope he’ll be important in the future
I don’t want to sound like a doom poster or anything because that’s not what i’m doing, BUT. I’m sorry capitano coming back AND becoming playable during Snezhnaya is so unrealistic. 😭 Maybe he will come back but I truly don’t think he’s going to be playable until Khaenri’ah. Everything in the game is pointing to him becoming the king of new Khaenri’ah so that would suggest he’s the archon character of new Khaenri’ah, this lines him up for 8.3 / 8.4. I don’t want to bring down morale but i just think we should manage our expectations better and try to be a bit more patient! 😭
giving what we know (simulanka and the lotus / rebirth mask) i think it’s safe to assume zandik will get a complete redesign when he is brought back especially since omega’s design is a mix of all the segments. so my question is what do we think he’ll look like? i feel like he’ll have longer hair since long hair in buddhism symbolizes spiritual purity and non attachment and that would be perfect for a reborn and enlightened zandik. i also feel like his mask will be removable similar to how columbina can take her mask off and on.
I’ve never fully understood why people are so adamant that Pulcinella having a shorter model means he either can’t be playable or will be redesigned. We’ve seen how Hoyo has slowly been improving things like animations, hair, and overall rendering of 3d models and that they were already working on creating a more muscular tall male model for Varka and Pierro back during Fontaine’s development so i don’t really see why it’s considered so unrealistic for Pulcinella’s current model to be playable. Him being in the Travail teaser already says enough since we know every Travail character is playable. There’s also the fact he isn’t nearly as short as most might think, with his heels putting him just below Columbina in height 😭😭😭
