Plus $25 off $150.
And 10% off on Rakuten.
I ordered my first Lafco Absolute (Forest Oakmoss, influenced by y'all) w/25% off.
For my $25 off $150, got my first Acqua Di Palma.
Ngl, the extra Rakuten discount did me in.
Heard the TGD single on Alt Nation, and started digging into Noah's music. Waited with happy anticipation for the album.
Maybe I'm a weirdo, but the length of the album (NOT a complaint) and how each song was it's own story in itself, got too overwhelming for me.
So I decided to make a playlist of the first "half" of songs 1-8, to take it in slowly. I am so glad I did.
Love every song in the first half. My two favorites (aside from the title track) are End of August and Willing And Able. Just WOW.
I am going to sit with the first half a little longer, then move on to the rest of the album.
The album is definitely an experience. So happy to have discovered Noah.
Has anyone else had to break their listening/deciphering into sections?
Apotheke's description:
Juicy fig is wrapped in fresh olive leaf, delicate white jasmine, and rich cedarwood for a lush aroma inspired by the intensely fragrant Mediterranean countryside.
I am not quite sure what an "olive leaf" smells like? I am always hopeful that it smells like the Tea Olives in my back yard (shout out my Southern peeps!).
This one started out with potential. However, once it got to full burn, it is a sweet, white floral. I think had it been the green side of the fig note used, it would have tempered the sweetness. If that makes any sense?
This one is VERY jasmine forward to me. If the intent was indeed a Tea Olive, the jasmine overpowered it. My nose does not detect the cedarwood.
I am a fan of Apotheke. This was a blind buy. Had I smelled it in person, I would have likely passed.
I do NOT hate the candle by any means. It's just not my cup of tea.
I got the classic size, and it is having no problem filling up my cavernous living area (under warmer). So it has a big hot throw.
No extra duty/tax/tariff on arrival!!
A kind soul in the sub posted a Ssense sale here not too long ago, and I placed my second order with them.
Ssense is a Canadian retailer. My first order with them was pre-tariff. Great experience.
My second order was also a great experience, even with tariffs. The website clearly tells you the duty/tax/tariffs associated with your order at checkout. And they ship DDP (they front any taxes associated). My order arrived 2 business days after I placed my order, via FedEx.
No extra $$ required from me. I think I got a great deal, especially with currency conversion. Everything was $10 less than US price.
All arrived damage free. I will definitely purchase from Ssense again!
I am moving, so going through the house and packing up what I can.
I found these in the verrrry back of my coffee table drawer.
I LOVED these! I think I had a Blueberry Sugar scent too.
And these still have a strong smell!
