recommendations?

i'm pretty new to horror manga but im beginning to love the genre! honestly i initially hated horror in general because when i thought horror i thought mindless and cheap jumpscares, until i recently read uzumaki by junji ito and just finished blood on the tracks!

does anyone have any preferably psychological horror recommendations that feel genuinely eerie and uncomfortable? i think i gravitate towards ones that feel like it could really happen in real life, that really capture how far down the human mind can go when pushed if that makes sense, i really liked how blood on the tracks did that

but im open to any recs in general as i am still new to this!! :D

Thoughts on Episode 13!

Okay, first of all; Some of you guys need to calm down lol.

Was I personally a little underwhelmed by Episode 13 and expected a little more explicit romantic implication? Yes, absolutely. Did I also expect that this would be open ended and also think this is the best case of an open ending we could've gotten? Absolutely.

In my opinion, though we didn't get an explicit confession nor conclusion, Episode 13 was beautiful.

A lot of people are disappointed that the anime didn't conclude because its apparently saying "gay people always need to move on" just like every other queer story, but that's quite literally the exact opposite of what the episode was about.

Episode 12 to the first half of Episode 13 was Nakamura GIVING UP. He pushed down his feelings and decided that Hirose won't ever like him back, so he's done trying. But that's not the point of the episode.

Hirose and Hana breaking up and Nakamura and Hirose getting much closer in turn tells a story of hope. Nakamura tells Hirose she didn't understand his charm, and not only does it make Hirose grow fonder of Nakamura, we start to see actual romantic implications on Hirose's side.

Nakamura goes in the bathroom and decides that him and Hirose are JUST FRIENDS, will NEVER be anything more, and he gives up.

But that changes.

As Hirose starts asking Nakamura to hang out more often and they go to the theater, eat lunch and go to the park, Nakamura starts to see that there's still hope for him left.

That he doesn't have to give up.

That he doesn't have to stop loving Hirose.

No matter what happens with their relationship, whether they go to different schools, he'll always love Hirose and he won't give up on that love.

And at the VERY end of the episode, it's heavily implied that they end up in the same class in second year as well. Honestly, initially I thought a season 2 was impossible because I assumed Episode 13 aimed to conclude the story. But now, after that shot of Nakamura seeing that they're in the same class, I would no longer consider it impossible.

So what can we do now?

The studio is clearly leaving space for Syundei to conclude the story on her own terms, and we can show her our love in the meantime and continue to love Go For It Nakamura.

But during that wait, even if season 2 never comes out, remember, Go For It Nakamura is about hope and love. Not rejection and moving on.

Thank You, Go For It Nakamura

I'm not an OG fan of Go For It, Nakamura. I was probably in elementary school when the manga first started releasing. I discovered it fairly recently, but I would be lying if I didn't say it changed my life.

I'm a young queer teenage girl, and I always knew I was. For as long as I can remember.

However, for just as long, I've never really understood the feelings I have. Not towards girls. I always pushed them down, never took them seriously, never considered it as a possibility for me that could be real. After all, I've watched shows. Read books. If you're young and queer, your first crush will usually be straight, and that's okay. You just need to get over it. Accept that. So I let my feelings dull, and I always went for guys.

Until I watched Go For It, Nakamura.

I understand. It's a silly romcom, an anime that doesn't take itself seriously. But I've never seen my feelings so well represented in a character before.

Queer people aren't sanitized. We are not one thing. We aren't only tragic, or perverted, or pure. We feel everything, just like everyone else. And Nakamura is that everything. Nakamura is in love, is happy, scared, ashamed, angry, jealous, perverted, sad, nervous, impulsive, everything I blurred before. I was shocked how well this silly little anime portrayed everything about myself I barely understood before.

But I've now learned to let myself love. Love how I would anyone else. And I think I like a girl. And I'm okay with that, more than okay with that. I'm letting myself feel those feelings without fear of the outcome, because I deserve that.

So no matter the outcome of Episode 13, from the bottom of my heart, I thank this stupid silly rom com for blessing the heart of a young teen queer girl. Thank you.

What Nakamura and Hirose's Story is actually about

With the final episode coming up in T-minus TWELVE HOURS, I decided to post one more analysis; What is Go For It, Nakamura actually about?

It's clear; it's about a young, gay boy in love with his classmate as he navigates the challenges that come with that. But....

------------------

Why does Nakamura's plans never work out? Why can't he be like Makenouchi from Lovable Lunches? Why can't he be the version of himself in Kawamura's manga? Why can't he be normal?

Here's the answer; That's not who he is. And that doesn't matter. Because Nakamura never gets anywhere with Hirose being anyone but HIMSELF.

When Nakamura tries to be like Makenouchi, like the Nakamura in Kawamura's manga, like a different person, he only digs himself into a deeper hole. He tells Hirose that the BL isn't his, that he doesn't like octopi, because of the judgement he's faced for it before. This makes zero progress.

It's only when Nakamura admits to reading BL, admits to liking octopi, and is his full authentic self that Hirose and him actually get closer. That they begin to genuinely enjoy each other's company.

And this idea is why Episodes 6 and 12 are the (current) emotional climaxes of the series. They tell the two sides of their story; the truth, and a lie.

------------------

In Episode 6, Nakamura learns how to really let down his walls.

Nakamura goes off on his own into the aquarium, leaving behind Hirose and Oomori. Even though he's surrounded by fish and octopi, he still wishes Hirose was there. And then there he is. Because Hirose sees through Nakamura's lies, he sees who he really is.

Nakamura confides in Hirose about the ridicule he's faced about his interest in octopi. Hirose tells Nakamura that he has to ignore people like that, and if they're that lame, it's THEIR loss. Nakamura needs to stay true to who he is.

It's at this moment Nakamura realizes that he's fallen head over heels for Hirose. He loves him. Not only that, he's glad he did. This is what the story has been trying to tell us all along, Nakamura isn't burdened by his love for Hirose. He's thankful for it. Because Hirose brings out who he really is, and makes him a better person.

However, later in the episode, the roles are reversed.

That moment when Nakamura grabs Hirose's arm and tells Hirose he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to. Nakamura teaches Hirose how to stand up for himself and follow his own feelings, not Takeuchi's, not anyone elses. This is why Episode 6 is so important to the series. It's the first time Nakamura helps Hirose be true to who HE is as well.

Then, later in the episode, a milestone moment, he tells Hirose how he truly feels and how he's wanted to be friends for a while.

That's the moment where Hirose and Nakamura truly become friends. The moment Nakamura achieves the goal that he has set for himself the entire season.

And the best part? Nakamura never had to be like Makenouchi, he never had to be cool, or strong, or anything he wasn't. All he had to be was himself.

Unfortunately, this is exactly why Nakamura hits rock bottom in Episode 12.

Nakamura spends the entire episode wanting to give Hirose "friendship chocolates" to "seal the deal on their friendship". Just like the girls in his class, it's normal to give your friends friendship chocolates! It's a kind gesture!

So why can't he bring himself to do it?

Because no matter what Nakamura has been telling himself the entire story, he doesn't want to be just friends with Hirose. He set those boundaries for himself because he believes that's the closest he'll be able to get with Hirose, because Hirose would never like Nakamura. Hirose is straight. So, being friends is enough. It's more than enough.

Right? Wrong. On the inside, Nakamura will always want to be more. Even if he can't. That's what the "friendship" chocolates represent. They represent Nakamura lying to himself. The biggest lie of all. That's why the chocolates failed.

And this leads directly into the shoe locker scene. Here, as a direct contrast to Episode 6, NEITHER Nakamura OR Hirose are telling THEIR truth.

Nakamura decided to not give Hirose the friendship chocolates, and Hirose decided to not ask Nakamura about Hana.

Had Nakamura given Hirose the chocolates and told Hirose that he shouldn't get into a relationship with Hana if he didn't want to, Hirose very well might've reconsidered.

But that's not what happened; And now both of them are facing the consequences, each in their own way.

Nakamura is left miserable. He doesn't understand why he's so upset when Hirose is "happy". And Hirose is left stressed out and confused because he's dating someone he doesn't want to.

It's classic miscommunication. Nakamura thinks Hirose is happy, when Hirose isn't, and now they're both unhappy. They weren't true to themselves and now they're paying the price.

This is what the entire episode is about.

"At the end of the day, it's not like I expected Hirose and I to end up together, happily ever after.

It's not like our friendship is over. Having a girlfriend doesn't change that.

So, why am I so upset? He's happy with her.

My Hirose is happy, so why aren't I?"

Here, Nakamura is still lying to himself, but he's starting to understand. He's supposed to be happy because Hirose's happy, so why isn't he?

As queer people, we feel that we have to accept the fact that we WILL fall in love with straight people (up for debate in Hirose's case). But we're allowed to feel sad. We're allowed to mourn. We're allowed to have always wanted more. Just like how Nakamura always wanted more.

And as he's speaking, we see the line,

"I like you just the way you are."

This line IS Nakamura and Hirose's story.

Because it's exactly how Nakamura and Hirose both feel about eachother. They like eachother just the way they are. No guardrails, no facades, no people pleasing. Nakamura loves Hirose just the way he is. They're each at their happiest when they act on THEIR true feelings, nobody else's.

Everyone deserves to be who they are and live THEIR truth. Without shame, without judgement, without fear.

------------------

If you actually read all of this thank you so much! GFIN changed my life, and I look forward to seeing you all on the other side :)

My favorite details from Episode 12!

Disclaimer; This isn't a full analysis or theory, just my favorite small details from the episode! : D Though I likely will be doing more full dissections of this episode before release of the finale. Okay let's start!

----------------------------------------------

- Using the exact same shot in the first and second part of the episode, with a clear tonal difference. Darker, gloomier colors and also; Lovable Lunches is gone in the second shot. So is Icchan. (Slides 1-2)

- Using the same black screen flashing effect on both these scenes, again in the two separate parts of the episode. (Slides 3-4)

- Nakamura clutching his heart like in the Volume 1 cover. (Slide 5)

- Nakamura reading "Must I in my loneliness be fated to sleep alone?" aloud after discovering Hirose has a girlfriend (Slides 6-7).

- The color fading after Nakamura reads that line aloud in class, specifically when Hana appears. This is a lighting we have never seen before. (Slides 8-10)

- This shot completely isolating Nakamura after he listens to Takeuchi and Mukai gossip about Hirose and Hana. (Slide 11)

- Side note; In the dub, Takeuchi says that if he were Hirose with Hana, he would totally "Go for it". The scene it cuts to right after this is Nakamura watching all the straight couples. Think about those implications; It's so much easier for straight people to "go for it", because they're perceived as normal. Stretch? Maybe, but I thought it was interesting.

This is my favorite detail that might DEFINITELY be a stretch; Every single thing the straight couples say, Nakamura and Hirose have done.

- Straight couple 1: "Let's get matching ones!" A woman telling her boyfriend that they should get a matching set online.

- Straight couple 2: "What should we do for our anniversary?" "Should we go on a trip?" A couple discusses going on a trip for their anniversary.

- Straight couple 3: "What do you want to eat?" "Whatever you want. Where should we go?" A couple talks about eating at a restaurant.

- Straight couple 4: "She looks just like you when she smiles." "But she's your kid too. She'll grow up beautiful."

Think about this. Matching sets? Nakamura and Hirose have matching octopus pens. Taking a trip? Nakamura and Hirose took a trip together to Chinatown. Eating at a restaurant? Nakamura and Hirose have gone to a restaurant together TWICE (once in Chinatown, once in ep10). This last ones a stretch fs, but it's interesting that the woman mentions the smile as that's the first thing about Hirose Nakamura fell in love with.

That probably sounded crazy, but if it meant something, I thought it was worth putting it out there. Let's keep going.

- The couple Nakamura watches in front of him, the woman reaches for the guy's hand first; just like Hana. (Slide 12)

- The emphasis on the line "I like you just the way you are". (Might write an entire post on this lol) (Slide 13)

That's all of my favorite minor details! Again, not saying that all of them are intentional, mostly me cornplating but I do have faith in a couple of them.

But did you notice?

The two parts of the episode are the exact same structure on two opposite sides of the story.

Opening with a hopeful goal. The use of black flashes when the conflict is introduced. A heartfelt moment in the locker room where it doesn't work out exactly as expected. Nakamura turning to Kawamura's manga to cope. However, this is the turning point within the episode. This time, instead of Nakamura hyping himself up and remaining hopeful, he gives up. He's swallowed by his emotions and isn't sure what to do this time.

However, we still have one more episode. Nakamura still has one more chance to go for it!

Thank you if you actually read all my cornplating lol I hope you all loved episode 12 as much as I did and are as excited for the finale as me! : D

Do you guys think Hirose and Nakamura will have an argument?

Just spitballing here but do you guys think we could get an angsty argument in Episode 13 like in these two no context panels? Personally, if it ends up in Nakamura confessing I would love one. What about you guys?

u/wizardsheroes — 23 days ago

I'm so torn on the locker room scene.. Thoughts?

Okay, I've been meaning to post theories and analysis and little details about this episode but its overloading my brain, especially: The locker room scene. So, I thought I should get it out of the way and make a separate post on it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yil5M9ZGmSk For reference.

----------------------

Now my original impression on first watch was obviously, Hirose wanted to say something to Nakamura, but got flustered and left. Now, what could that thing have been?

I thought for a second that Hirose possibly wanted to give "friendship" chocolates to Nakamura as well, but I wasn't sure how that'd even be played out (YET).

Then, my guess was Hana had JUST confessed to Hirose and given him chocolate, and was going to ask Nakamura for help.

Upon learning that Nakamura didn't receive any chocolate, Hirose might've not wanted to make it awkward by asking for romantic advice then and there.

THEN, I rewatched the episode and now I'm REALLY torn BECAUSE (slide 1) the show frames it as if Hirose is the one giving chocolate, secretively at that.

Alright, perhaps he received chocolate from Hana during school and he was going to wait after school for her, right?

WRONG! I believe it's clear Hirose wasn't waiting for Hana, as he leaves as soon as he gets flustered talking to Nakamura and visibly doesn't leave with anyone.

And weird coincidence that Hirose was asking Otogiri for advice (slide 2), then Otogiri suddenly needs Nakamura to stay late (slide 3) when Hirose has "something to do" after school which we have no clue about?

Also, though they're likely clickbait, the Crunchyroll titles are throwing me off.

"Hirose almost reveals his true feelings" cannot be explained as asking for romantic advice. (Slide 4)

"Hirose almost lets it slip" is obviously them trying to make it vague after that insane title. (Slide 5)

"Only accept chocolate from ME" makes it sound like Hirose did in fact accept chocolate from Hana, and this is Nakamura's thoughts. (Slide 6) (Not sure about the credibility of this one, if someone could fact check me that'd be great)

So what the hell is going on here?

----------------------
I think the bottom line is this is arguably the first objectively romantic interaction we've gotten between Nakamura and Hirose. Something was DEFINITELY going on there.

That scene was framed MUCH different than any other interaction between the two. For the first time, Hirose is blushing and stuttering just as much as Nakamura and we don't know why.

I think that this scene will definitely be revisited and we'll get a more unpredictable answer for this, bigger than Hirose was going to give Nakamura chocolate or Hirose was going to ask for romantic advice.

What do you guys think? : D

Why I Believe in a Happy Ending

Happy last hour or two before Episode 12 drops on Crunchyroll! If they wanted to tell the story of a queer teenage boy in love with his classmate but OOPS! He's straight, and they wouldn't and don't work out, so Nakamura has to move on, they failed. Bad.

No matter how you slice it, Nakamura and Hirose are good for eachother. Nakamura is an antisocial, awkward, brooding teenager. He functions on his own, and initially, is ashamed of who he truly is. Whether that be the way he acts, the books he reads, his favorite animal, his love for his classmate.

Hirose counteracts all of those things.

Nakamura feels comfortable being himself around Hirose. Hirose assures Nakamura that reading BL isn't weird, that liking octopi is cool and perfectly normal, that he should stay true to he is and not let anyone else tell him otherwise.

Nakamura isn't ashamed or burdened by his love for Hirose; He's glad he's in love with him. Because Hirose is a great friend who makes Nakamura a better person, even if it's not currently romantic.

However, this isn't one sided.

In contrast to Nakamura not really socializing at all, Hirose does his best to please everybody. He doesn't often stand up for what he wants, and prioritizes other people's comfort and happiness over his own, especially evident with Takeuchi.

Nakamura turns that around too. He gives Hirose the courage to stand up for himself and what he wants to do, not anyone else.

The person you are in a relationship with should be like a best friend. Someone who makes YOU a better person, and vice versa. Nakamura's love for Hirose isn't a burden to him, it makes him better. It's not the type of love he SHOULD get over.

Though, of course, it all boils down to how Hirose feels. Is he straight? Would he even like Nakamura? Well, based on his crush with Otogiri and the end of the >!Hana chapter,!<I think we can infer that its possible for Hirose to be attracted to men.

So why shouldn't they end on a happy ending? Especially if these last two episodes are angsty, I don't see them ending with the "doom and gloom ending" (lol) after all that. Nakamura and Hirose just aren't written to fail. I have faith in this adaptation based on the beautiful work I've seen the crew do so far, and I'm hopeful for a happy ending.

What do you guys think ??? : D

All My Episode 12-13 Predictions & Thoughts ! :)

MARKED SPOILER FOR RELEASED EPISODE DESCRIPTIONS! I put the text in spoilers, but marked it just in case!

I decided I will share all my predictions and theories before the final two episodes of Go For It, Nakamura drop! I thought it'd be fun to come back to this after the new episode arrives tomorrow :)) Maybe I'll have more for episode 13 after tomorrow, lol

Full disclosure, I believe GFIN is not written to have a bad ending. Bad ending as in an outright rejection, friendzone, or complete loss of a conclusion for either Nakamura or Hirose. From the way I read it, this is not that type of story.

I was originally going to include all of my thoughts on that here but it was too much so that'll be a separate post lols, might do it after e12

Now here's the spoiler part (Episode descriptions!):

>!Episode 12: Because! We're 'friends'!!!<
>!It is Valentine's Day, and a restless, excited atmosphere fills the school as everyone anticipates receiving chocolates. While the boys wonder if any girls might approach them, Nakamura is alone and anxious, hoping to give Hirose some "friendship chocolate." During the break between classes, Nakamura keeps a close watch on Hirose, looking for the right moment. Finally, Nakamura finds Hirose alone.!<

>!Episode 13: Even so! I still love you the most!!!<
>!Upon learning that Hirose has a girlfriend, Nakamura decides to support him quietly from the sidelines. Yet, these feelings refuse to fade. I love Hirose Aiki!!<

A lot of people are disappointed and confused why they are deciding to end on the feared Hana chapter. I'm sure majority of us were convinced that'd be Episode 12. I do think it's an odd choice, but writers are not stupid. They know just as much as us how odd it is to end on that episode; unless they have something else in mind.

Think about it. It makes no sense that they've pushed the girlfriend chapter out so far if they didn't intend to have at LEAST SOME sort of confession by the end.

(WARNING FOR ENDING THEME LEAKS)

For god's sake, the series is 1. called Go For It Nakamura 2. The end of Episode 13's description is "I love Hirose Aiki" 3. the title of it is "Even so! I still love you the most!!" 4. The leaked ending credits are literally called Daisuki. It would be strange for this series to end without a confession.

Here are my predictions and guesses for the next 2 episodes, some backed some not lol

My guess for the way Episodes 12 and 13 will flow is that Episode 12 will act mostly as a lighthearted episode, but shift towards the end. We know that the crew has stated several times that episodes 12 and 13 dramatically shift in tone compared to that lighthearted romcom feel, and I believe this will happen when Nakamura and Hirose are alone.

I find the episode titles particularly interesting. "Because! We're friends!!" sounds like Hirose might've been asking Nakamura why he decided to give him chocolates. I believe this will be a more emotional and tender moment, and give us more insight into Hirose's point of view.

However Nakamura comes out of the situation (though I lean towards it being a positive moment for him), I think the chapter could end with him spotting Hirose and Hana, segueing us into episode 13. Though I'm not 100% on that, knowing that they are screening episodes 12 and 13 together and the crew has mentioned those episodes together several times, I believe they must be tethered in some way.

I also believe episode 13 will be very Hirose central. I say this because it is arguably Hirose's most queer coded chapter. I think the reason they kept this chapter to the end is because it was likely the most tangible chapter to show Hirose's point of view.

Like if you've read the manga, I mean come ON. Hirose shows no real interest in his girlfriend, and at the end of his and Nakamura's conversation, he says "A guy I can talk about lots of stuff with like this might be better!" If that's not foreshadowing something for Hirose, I don't know what is.

I also believe the octopus pens from episode 11 will return in this chapter.

It just felt like such an intentional choice to give Nakamura and Hirose.. matching octopus pens? The same one that Hana picks up for Nakamura as their ONLY interaction? I could imagine Hana noticing that Nakamura and Hirose have matching pens and begin suspecting something. She could mention it to Hirose, and he would dismiss it but the thought is now in his head.

I'm also thinking; If episode 12 is entirely anime original and takes place on Valentine's Day AKA February, that's about only 1-2 months after Winter Break. They could possibly be keeping Nakamura's hair, which would give us Hirose's proper reaction. That could also be VERYYY interesting considering Hirose did say that Nakamura would look cooler with his bangs cut.

I also believe that episode 12 might not have an ending song. If you've been active on this subreddit lately, you know that there was a leak that Daisuki by Yasuyuki Okamura (one of the singers in the OP!) is the ED. However, that makes only 12 eds, meaning one of the final two likely does not have end credits. Since Daisuki is such a perfect, wholesome song to sum up the show, I believe it would make a perfect closer for 13; especially considering there's a modern 2026 remix released!

I do think this could go both ways, however; I could very well see Daisuki being an also fitting end for a Valentine's episode, and the final credits are a unique extra scene. This is equally possible to me.

If the crew isn't lying to us, I'm very excited for this apparently movie like, dramatic, emotional tone shift upon us. I'm extremely excited for what the final two episodes bring!

What are your thoughts? What do you think could happen in these final two episodes? :))

Do you guys think there's a possibility for a season 2?

I'm actually pretty torn on this topic so I'm not going to try to make any particular point.

On one hand I believe it's pretty much impossible if they rely on manga because of course there's no content left to adapt, but also if they really want to milk the series (they don't even have legit merch yet) I wouldn't completely consider them making an entire anime original impossible.

But again, that's just my opinion though I do lean a bit more towards no season 2.

What are your thoughts? :))

u/wizardsheroes — 1 month ago

How do you guys think episode 13 will go?

Knowing that episode 12 is VERY most likely the Hana episode (finally), how do you guys think the extra episode 13 full of original content will go? After Hana, there's nothing else from the manga left to adapt, so I think it's safe to say the anime will bring us our own original conclusion.

Also knowing that episodes 12 and 13 will be screened in theaters (only other episode that was screened in theaters was episode 6 to my knowledge), I think we can also assume these episodes will be higher in quality than the rest, and that episodes 12 and 13 must connect in some way.

If anyone has any theories I'd love to hear it!

Episode 11's filler might have been foreshadowing Hirose's girlfriend (Hear me out)

Okay, I know that everyone keeps saying that the next episode will be the girlfriend episode and so on. Here's what I noticed:

https://preview.redd.it/vc8etkfe645h1.png?width=885&format=png&auto=webp&s=5df921a8378811493251117022ee34981094be15

Watching the episode, I thought it was a bit odd that octopus pens ended up being Hirose's present.

BUT:

https://preview.redd.it/sn0dsz8g645h1.png?width=1134&format=png&auto=webp&s=a2c4408ad30cba8c7681610c0cb08dee0ef126d5

If you go back to Chapter 17 of the manga with Hirose's girlfriend, Hana, Nakamura drops his octopus pen and Hana picks it up for him. I believe that the writers may have possibly included the octopus pens as a present to directly lead to this scene being adapted in the next episode.

Also worth noting with the haircut chapter now adapted, the only chapter left from the manga left to adapt is Hirose's girlfriend, and we know they're going to include her since she's in the intro.

Again, just a theory.

What do you guys think? : D

new to GFIN, can give me a basic rundown of whats happening with it?

im new to reddit so maybe im doing this wrong lololl but i only recently (and as in recently i mean like last night) finished the anime, and just read most of the manga besides vol2, and im a younger queer girl who personally very much sees myself in this story

i know the basic story on how syundei got ran off the internet for the quote unquote "teacher x student" stuff, but since im new here can someone tell me seriously;

is it possible that the anime gets a happy ending with hirose/nakamura as a legit couple?

im aware the manga is on an indefinite hiatus due to foreigners who don't know what they're talking about, but i just want to know how possible it is

it seems that lots of bls these days tend to be tragic or straight up unacceptably weird, so im holding hope out that we can have a beautiful, awkward teenage love story where the queer MC actually gets the guy </33

so as a newbie to this series can anyone tell me objectively, what is the trajectory that the anime seems to be taking? how possible is it for us to win??
