Does a manga of two girls destroying each other life needs a subplot of a friend learning to have a more alternative dress style?
Does a manga of a creepy neighboor trying to groming a boy, needs a sub plot of the neighboor of the best friend of the boy having a unfaithfull husband?
Dkes a manga of creepy girls obssesed with her stepfather, needs a subplot of the sister of the stepfather getting pregnant by a married man?
No they only serve to make the longer than they need to be...tell more abbout useless subplots in horror manga, or subplots you actually likes

I’ve been working on an indie horror manga called “Kanae: Between Two Worlds,” inspired by the Japanese urban legend “Matanozoki” (股のぞき).
It’s about a strange school rumor that says looking through your legs at 6 PM can make you see another world.
