Treevana (powered by Sanctuary) "full spectrum" soft gels and distillate carts

Luckily, Milledgeville isn't terribly far from my abode and I checked them out last week before hitting up the new Jack in the Box they got. It's been 20 years since I last had the Box. Like everything else, it's just not quite the same. But I digress.

I picked up an Original Z distillate cart along with an Amnesia, a little indica and a little sativa to yinyang that thang. Personally, I notice no real difference between indicas and sativas.

Treevana has carts they advertise as having added botanical terps, these are supposed to however just be enhanced with all natural terps. Both are alleged to be over 80% THC.

I will say, I much prefer these to Trulieve carts. For starters, I feel them more, but also the flavor is just so much better. I am not a fan of added botanical terps. They provide no real benefits and just makes things more harsh on the old windbags. These carts should get you where you need to go.

Treevana is run by Sanctuary Medicinals so they are another multistate operator along with Fine Fettle and Trulieve. Sanctuary generally uses liquid shatter in their carts, and that may be the case here. While not a true full spectrum extract, liquid shatter does retain a lot more of the natural terps than other distillate methods. The carts are half gram 510 threaded.

Treevana does not have the CoAs on their website. You have to scan a QR code on the packaging, which I do not like. Trulieve at least makes the CoAs available readily online.

Now for the gummies/gels, they are being marketed as full spectrum. 100mg container/10mg THC per piece. Taste is fine, with an aftertaste you would expect of an edible.

The QR code on my bottle does not work so I cannot access the CoA for it. However, the ingredient label has liquid shatter listed as the concentration used, so these gummies are not really full spectrum like if they were being made with RSO.

I should note, edibles are always hit or miss with me. My liver just doesn't produce the right juice to metabolize the THC, I have to eat a lot of it and with a lot of fats and even then it's no guarantee. I may blast off or just have a nice light body buzz.

The gels feel a bit on the weaker side, for me, your mileage may vary. We shall see how 50mg treats me today. I will report back. For science...

Don't sleep on Treevana because they unfortunately placed themselves in Milledgeville. Could be worse I suppose. Could have been Dublin. You can at least get in a round of disc golf in Milledgeville at a half decent course with exceptional baskets before/after you pick up. The store and grow op are the same facility. Decent products and they have good sales. I got the 2 carts and jar of gels for $50. Will return for carts at the very least.

Sky Warden (hybrid) crumble

Picked this up from Trulieve today. Much lighter color than the wood shiva crumble and a lot more neutral in odor.

CoA has 73.263% THC with .74% CBD as well as 3.48% CBG for 78.90% total cannabinoids. Website says there are 4.6%terps, but I don't get much flavor, and that is fine as far as I am concerned. I don't use concentrates for flavor.

This is marketed as being made with cured flower. The effects are certainly more noticeable off less use than the wood shiva. Good relaxation and some pain relief from that CBG.

Much less harsh in my Pulsar APX Wax pen on lowest setting than the wood shiva. The CoA for the wood shiva noted traces of the acetone used. The CoA for the Sky Warden has no detectable amounts of the solvent used.

Overall a big improvement from Trulieve over their previous concentrate offering. $55/g like their others. Maybe that will improve with time.

Been craving a brie and butter sandwich lately, decided to jazz it up a bit with some tavern ham, lettuce, a little black pepper, and Colmans Mustard on some fresh French bread. Creme de brie in place of chunks of brie. Amazeballs.
