Looking for advice from the seasoned locals!
I’ve finally decided to bite the bullet, and withdraw a chunk from my savings and invest into an s&s isa. I’ve spent the last few days trying to decide how to allocate my investment, mostly from Reddit and other forums.
I’ve seen few posts/replies on this sub from some folk who clearly seem a lot more knowledgeable than I am about this, so happy to hear any insight.
These are what I have my eyes on at the moment, I know there’s some overlap but remember im a beginner so I’m happy to hear any pros/cons anyone is willing to shout out. I’d prob be looking to pick 3/4/5 that make the cut.
VWRP Vanguard ftse all world
VUKG Vanguard uk100 ftse
S&P 500 (VOO or VOOG- would love some comments regarding these)
Eqqq/ cnx
Msci
QDVE
3 options I’m considering,
50% into VWRP, and the remaining 50% split equally among the rest.
equal split between them all.
equal split between them all, with another percentage kept behind for individual company stocks. (So If I go with 4 from above, then 20% each and the last 20% kept for anywhere from 1-4 stocks that I may chop and change, and generally play about with)
Thanks!
