are math degrees for those with passion or talent?

how do i know if ill be able to keep up with all the studying? how to know if i will even understand it? (i live in poland so no AP classes to take) can a person understand all that advanced math by just working hard or its meant for big brains?
edit: i’m talking about applied math/computer math

best suburbs/towns to raise kids with some social spirit?

preferably near some big city, that have at least walkable in area with shops, bars etc. obviously doesn’t need to be some college town with nightlife but i would prefer some things to do, not just boring suburbia. i don’t mind copy paste houses vibe of suburbia tho. what are your favourite places like that?

my dad has a successful company but i want to pursue my life long dream, what do i do?

for the context, i’ve always wanted to live in the us but my whole family lives in poland and with my dad and my granddad having their own businesses(in construction) it’s actually became thought provoking.

i had a whole plan with the states made up for so long but now i’m lost. i’ll be getting bachelor in computer mathematics in poland and then i wanted to do master of statistics in the us and then become data scientist or quant.

the one thing i know is i would be miserable in poland if i don’t experience my “dream life in the us”. (please don’t mention how much that or this country is better than another. i have my undeniable opinion so this shouldn’t be about which country is better at all.) on the other hand, i know if i would stay, i would have an open, limitless career helping my dad and then inheriting the company.

what do i do? i don’t want to fuck up my life over some bad decision in my 18s. thank yall, god bless you

ofc, interests are one thing but job prospects are equally important for me. i will graduate from bachelor of computer mathematics and i’m exploring my paths. i’m gonna say statistics interest me more and i’m more into some data science/quant jobs rather than software engineering/ai but i would like to have doors open for many different careers if possible. with these tech layoffs and trouble finding job, what would be the safer bet? god bless y’all
