Fun facts ✨
The name “Bluey” itself is a common name given to blue heelers in Australia. In fact, the creator/director of the Bluey show, Joe Brumm, once owned a blue heeler named Bluey, hence where the show and its titular character got their name. Also, the longest-lived dog in recorded history was a female blue heeler, also named Bluey. She lived to be 29 years old. Lastly, the name “Bluey” is a common nickname for police officers in Australia, which was further popularized by a television show that came out in the 1970s, a police crime drama that was incidentally titled… “Bluey.”
Never thought I’d say this, but if Bluey actually adds anthropomorphic cats, a bunch of episodes are going to look really weird.
If they wanna add racism between cats and dogs, whatever, but I’m gonna need some sort of explanation. For me, this is a song the monkey cannot sing 😂
This pug was lowkey racist
And for those saying this isn’t racist, it’s not the fact she called Chilli a “cattle dog,” which is what Chilli is. It’s the tone she used and the implication that cattle dogs are beneath her. It’s the equivalent to saying “Stay out of it, black person!” or “Stay out of it, white person!” when they could’ve said ma’am or not directly addressed the person at all.
Anyway, this character is obviously written to be unlikable, a grouchy granny if you wall, but I just find this scene fascinating.
Does anyone here actually own an Australian Cattle Dog? (Blue Heeler, Red Heeler, White Heeler, or mix?)
These are the Top 10 FUNNIEST Bluey episodes (in my opinion) ✨
Sorry, I don’t find Muffin Granny (Gladys) to be that funny. 🤷♀️ Her back-and-forth with the actual grouchy granny never made me laugh.
Baby Rusty ain’t having none of it 🤣
I can watch this all day lol
