My son decided to put some gun cleaner into my fish tank. I did a 60% water change threw away the sponge filter. Because it smelled like gun cleaner and quarantine fish in a new tank. Still has oil film despite using paper towels and I added carbon. Should I just throw everything in the tank and deep clean or wait and see?
