I have multiple questions regarding AIs and how they go to war:

1. I only play Prince difficulty as of late. Do they declare war on me, or just denounce me all the time? I haven't seen an AI declare any kind of war against me excluding those that i initiate.

2. Is there a way to stop AI friends or ally from attacking City States i'm a suzerain of?

3. If i participate in a joint war offered by an AI, will they be able to make peace with the enemy before I do? Leaving me battling the enemy alone.

EDIT: After waiting for the tech for canals to finish, i can say thar this layout works. At most two canals will be consructed when building the Panama Canal (depending on your placement). Thanks to those who clarified

Spawned in a tile where i border an area with vast tundra tiles, but has 8 or more Deer tiles surrounding me. Should i choose: Dance of the Auroras or Goddess of the Hunt?

Also, when choosing Pantheons in general, what do you prioritize when you choose one? Your surroundings, synergy with your civ's abilities, or which victory you hope to achieve?

Anyone encountered an enemy AI unit just stopped in a tile and somehow forgot it can move?

Unit in question is a Great General. He is in the spot i was planning to settle. He is surrounded by three mountain tiles, but there are still 3 empty tiles he can move to. Been there on the same spot for more than 5 turns.

He is not injured so he doesnt seem to stay there to heal like other military units. There are no borders near him that could lock him in place.

I just want to settle on that tile for a good campus placement, and i dont want to start a war with another civ.

*Edit: MFer moved away after my settler is halfway through the new spot i decided to settle. Wasted 10 turns. That little shit.
