Pokémon: In the Beginning

It’s 1998. You start up your very first Pokémon game. Professor Oak calls you into his lab and says, “There are 3 Pokémon here! Haha! They are inside the Poké Balls. When I was young, I was a serious Pokémon trainer! In my old age, I only have 3 left, but you can have one! Choose!”

How could you choose? How could you know which one will hopefully be the shining star of your team? Will you even like their final form?

You take the leap and pick…

When I first saw the brick built Poké Balls in the new polybags, I knew I had to put together this iconic scene! This is modeled after Oak’s lab in FireRed and LeafGreen.

Who was your very first starter Pokémon?

In another world, Jedi Vader squares off against Darth Kenobi to determine the fate of the universe…

A spin on the Death Star duel with Jedi Vader from Rebuild the Galaxy. Had to give them the classic chrome saber hilts as well.

After a couple of reworks, I finally landed on a design for the interior corridors of the Death Star and I’m pleased with how it came out.

Built for May the 4th this year!

A Clockwork Jester created to entertain, but turned on the humans after a blow to the head.

Created for a Fools of April challenge on Insta, and inspired by the Jester Puppet from Lies of P.
