Emily throwing tantrums

Emily throwing tantrums

Yes, there are other characters that does this like Paris, Dean, Rory, Luke but IMO Emily is the most serial offender when it comes to throwing a hissy fits. She's a 60+ grandma who's being ridiculously petty, immature & an embarrassment.

IMO Emily was being extremely rude, offensive & insensitive here

Emily was really out of line on what she said, no wonder Lorelai left the room.

Edit: The reason I put IMO in the title is because there was a time that I made a post about Emily on her rude behaviour & then all of sudden there were Emily defensive fans saying her behaviour wasn't rude.

Which Gilmore Girls characters that everyone really likes, don't mind &/or feel neutral about but you strongly dislike & why ?

Here's mine

Emily Gilmore for many reasons

- controlling, cruel & manipulative behaviour (e.g Season 5, Emily purposely inviting Christopher to the wedding vow renewal ceremony & deliberately driving a wedge between Luke & Lorelai)

- hold grudges & gets hung up on things easily

- very judgemental, critical & demanding

- treats lower class & people beneath her like crap

- like to think to herself that's she's always right & for her it's all about winning (Season 5 when she thought she fixed Luke & Lorelai's relationship by Emily coming to Stars Hollow to tell him just be with Lorelai when in actual fact Luke & Lorelai fixed their relationship)

- racist remarks (Rory's "Asian friend" 😒😒😒, as an Asian myself, this really makes my blood boil)

- extremely fussy lady & likes to have things a certain way

- really stubborn & very strong opinion lady

- refuse to listen to Lorelai & doesn't consider people's thoughts especially when it comes to Lorelai

- constantly blaming stuff on Lorelai & constantly pointing out Lorelai's flaws

- never apologies to Lorelai

- When you ask her for something even if it's a small gesture, things comes with strings attached or whatever benefits her

- Emily Gilmore a 60+ grandma who likes to throw tantrums when things don't go her way, has hissy fits on numerous of times (e.g Season 4 shopping mall at a department store, Season 1 Rory's 16th birthday party telling staff of by put cheese in a separate bag, Season 1 shouting at a nurse, Season 7 again shouting at a nurse, Season 7 pull over by a police for talking on the phone), all of these were done publicly

Yes she definitely has her LOL moments that doesn't mean she needs to behave like that or be in a certain way.

How would Lane react to Dean's behaviour?

What I mean by that is since Jess arrived Stars Hollow, it has causes major friction on Dean & Rory's relationship for numerous reasons e.g Rory falling for Jess whilst stringing along with Dean, Dean feels insecure due to Jess interfering his relationship with Rory & deliberately annoying Dean. What happens if Rory & Lane were talking/ catching up on things & all of sudden Rory proceeds into a conversation about the evening when she wanted to do her own laundry & ordering Indian food & the drama specifically when Dean came over & describing about Dean's behaviour being very mad, hot headed, went ballistic etc as well as telling Lane he being insecure, obsessive phone calls, clingy etc. How would Lane react to this? What your thoughts on this?

How do you think the evening will turn out if Rory invited Lane instead of Dean?

Do you think Lane will get the same treatment as Dean? What will the interaction be like between Lane, Emily & Richard, given that throughout the Gilmore Girls series, there's been no conversation/interaction between Lane & Richard. What's your thoughts on this?

Does Taylor Swift have a favourite music videos?

What I mean by favourite music video, has she mention any favourite or like music videos by an artist or band? We all know she's heavily involved in song writing or creating a concept album, she's also strongly involved in creating/directing her own music which is not surprising. It could be music video she influenced by when she's making her own music video or music video she likes when she was growing up? Which music videos by an artist or band do you think she likes/admirers?

How would Lane react if she found out Rory has feelings for Jess & kissed him?

It looks like Lane is absolutely unaware that Rory has feelings for Jess, case in point, there was an episode where Rory helped Lane to dye her hair & Lane mention along lines of Rory is lucky to find love like Dean & you can see Rory's face frowning about it. It's been mentioned that Lane is not a fan of Jess (e.g Rory had a cast around her wrist & Lane says she's protective on her best friend when they bump into Jess). She's more invested in Rory's relationship with Dean, (even when they were sleeping together, Lane asked Rory felt about it rather than giving her wake up call).

Why doesn't Rory tell Lane about it after all they're best friends? What would Lane's reaction be like if she figured out herself that Rory has feelings for Jess & kissed him?

Who's a better friend to Rory, Lane or Paris?

I know Paris was mean & cruel to Rory at the beginning but eventually softens & opens up to her later. Paris still has her mad moments with Rory like when she kicked out Rory from their apartment when Paris find out Rory was voted for being the next editor of Yale Daily News over Paris or when Francie was pitting against Rory & Paris, however both remain friends.

Lane also a good friend who's loyal & supportive too.

How do you think Rory's prom night turned out like?

From what's been mention, Jess & Rory were discussing about getting prom tickets. Soon after Jess couldn't get prom tickets which ultimately lead to Jess telling Rory he couldn't get the tickets. You could tell Rory was disappointed but not surprised by it. This got me thinking, did Rory even attend prom despite all this? She & Paris were talking about Stars Hollow & Chilton prom too.

Why is Taylor Swift very observant when it comes to public perception about her?

Ever since her career, she's someone always aware of what people may say about behind her back especially the ones who are critical & skeptical about her music, love life, decision-making etc. It's almost as if she has this spiderman sense & can strongly predict on what people may say about her. If you take examples from her peers like Rihanna or Lady Gaga, they rarely get fixated on how the public views them & are very nonchalant about it. Some may say Taylor now has IDGAF behaviour but I highly doubt it.

IMO there are number of her songs that do reflect on this topic. A prime example is Anti Hero, although it's about her dealing her doubts, insecurities, anxieties, IMHO I do think it's about Taylor being extremely aware on how the public sees Taylor being a problematic celebrity.

For example

"It's me, Hi, I'm the problem, It's me"

"Too big to hang out, slowly lurching towards your favourite city"

"Did you hear my covert narcissism, I disguise as altruism

Like some kind of congressman"

There are other songs like Blank Space (Media perception on her constant dating life & writing songs about it), LWYMMD (Public perception on snake drama & Taylor response about it), Mean (Taylor being aware on harsh critical review on her singing performance on T.V)

I know people might be thinking WTF, how is this related & may not agree on this especially when it comes to interpret into songs but I do think it's tell tell sign that Taylor is extremely observant on what's around her & how it impacts her & her image especially.
