keeps biting wooden corners

my pup is 4 months and he’s a peki x bichon, and been with me for 1 week and 2 days, keeps biting wooden corners in our home. we rent this place and i dont want my man to come home from deployment annoyed as hell because of these damages. he doesnt gnaw on anything else but the wooden corners. i havent tried anything yet because this is a new thing i’ve experienced with a dog. thank you so much.

dog will NOT STOP whining in crate

im currently trying to train our dog (peki/bichon, 4 mos, with me for about a week now) alone bc my bf is in the military. while trying to crate train him, all he does is whine and bark the moment i step out for 5 mins to help him get used to being in it. i need him to be able to stay in there because i have a job (5-6 hrs on weekdays).

i know a lot of it takes time, but is there any way to get him used to it asap? i feed him inside the crate too.

thank you, i desperately need help.

tips please!

Hello everyone! This is Koda, he’s still a widdle baby, and he’s a Peki-Bichon mix! I’ve only ever dealt with Shih Tzus in my life, so I would love any tips on how to help him out!

But my top questions are:

  1. How do i train him to not bark as much? We live next to a lot of old people and we don’t want to bother them.
  2. My bf is in the military, and I work nights that range from 5-9 hours. I used to have a dog who just had the worst separation anxiety, so how do I prevent that with him so he doesn’t bark too much and ruin things in the house?

Other than that, any other tips are also welcome. Thank you so much! 🩷

*edit: typo

Good Evening everyone!

I’ve been hooked on Alyssa Grenfell, a former Mormon YouTuber, recently and learned the BITE Model through her.

Basically, the BITE Model is used for groups especially cults to breakdown their behavior to explain why they feel and act so cult-like. BITE stands for Behavior, Information, Thought, and Emotional Control. I’ve made my list but I want to know if anyone has made their own conclusions with the BITE Model. I’d love to compare what we’ve all come up with.

Thanks! 💗💗💗
