'A' man 'a' woman 'a'...?

Does anyone have a nonbinary identity name label or term they like, use or have heard of, that is... 'a' noun?

I feel frustrated that there seems to be no grammatical equivalent to binary people able to announce themselves or call each other 'men' or 'women'.

Thanks for any input :)

Androgyny?

Forgive me if I'm wrong here, I'm just wondering if the term 'androgynous' has fallen out of fashion, and why that might be the case? I personally like it a lot and haven't seen it used as often in hashtags or people's merch stores, things like that.

Celebrate gender inclusive public toilets!

This is the unisex toilet at my local train station. I think it's pretty neat. Would love a toilet image on the sign instead of two gendered people, but ya know, maybe one day :)

Advice for showering

I can't pinpoint when in my life I started struggling with showering. Just that I don't think I always did, and now I do and have for at least a few years now.

It's really starting to frustrate me, embarass me, even anger me and at times just... kind of make me hate myself a bit tbh.

I can't tell if it's transitions, if it's sensory, or maybe demand avoidance, or if it's actually like... screen addiction maybe? Or a mix of all of these.

People who use strategies to successfully shower daily most of the time, help me please.

Update: I showered and realised I was feeling overwhelmed about other things and showers are good safe spaces to cry and probably at leaat this time it was alexythymia, not realising how I was feeling and my brain just like probably subconsciously defending me from experiencing and facing the feelings. I had a good cry, showered properly and talked to my partner after :)
