Was any part of WINKIE COUNTRY shown? Other than Fiyero and his horse Feldspar. Were there any Winkies among the background extras? Was their second castle In the background in the Wizard's 3d Map-diorama of Oz? And if not, what could it have looked like?
What additional scenes of Governor Nessa would you have liked to have seen in Wicked: For Good?
I envision... a scene right before the cyclone, where Nessa uses the shoes to float up and intimidate a crowd of protesting munchkins. She demands they help search for Boq. They scream back at her that she is a Wicked Witch.
I am trying to figure out what the name is of a cartoon I watched on the Disney channel in Canada in the early to mid 1990s. Two or three main characters, one was a girl I think, who were somehow involved in some adventures associated with a science-like facility and there was maybe an older man scientist at this facility who would help them out. They were either spies or scientists or a combination of both. The animation style was similar to Captain Planet and The Magic School Bus.
The most specific detail I remember and am fascinated by is that there was a recurring robot-cyborg female villain named Cynaide, or some kind name that was intimidating and chemical sounding like that. And she came back more than once after being defeated. Something about her reminded me of Livewire from Superman: The Animated Series, and Brainiac.
I am trying to find this anti-smoking commercial in the early 1990s that I saw in the cinema before a film. Or perhaps it was anti-drugs. It showed young people (college age or highschool age) in a industrial factory, that looked very much like the setting from end of Terminator 2 and/or Alien 3, and they were on a high platform that had metal railings and were taking off their clothes to be in their underwear and undershirts before diving off the platform, seemingly into some kind of pit or maybe it was firey molten lead like Terminator 2/Alien 3.
There was some horrific scary organ music playing during it too. The scene was in slow motion, particularly when they were diving off the platform.
There was some kind of PSA about the connection between smoking/drug use and killing yourself (the diving off a platform to their deaths).
I would later see the film Alien 3 and it's ending involving Sigourney Weaver's Ripley character suicide-swan diving off a platform in a industry facility into a pool of bright firey molten lead felt so similar too this commercial.
I was thinking, when watching Part 1 again, and how Elphaba and Glinda's failed Balloon escape in the tower helped add some scale and pad out the story so that the climax didn't feel like it happened too fast. And in For Good there was no action scene of any equivilant in the third act of the story.
Where could an action scene be added in For Good, the way the Balloon escape action scene was in Part 1?
The Friendship Montage deleted scene and the shots of the meadow are scenes that many people think should have been in the film. Has anyone considered doing a better & shorter edit of the scene? Some of the shots/angles could definitely be cut, but others are definitely vital like Elphaba giving Glinda her extra pair of boots.
