Is it safe to add a splitter to my 12gauge extension cord?

i dont know if this is the best place to ask but i want to connect my portable 15amp table saw and my 5hp shop vac to my 12 gauge extension cord but i would need a splitter. im looking on amazon for another 12 gauge splitter or a 10 gauge splitter. would this be safe to do? my other option is to use 2 separate extension cords but they would be connected to the same household 120v outlet.

How much should i charge my sister for elevated planters?

i finished my first big project with the elevator planter i made my wife yesterday and my sister loved it. she now wants 4 or 5. the wood near me would cost about $43 for each. what would be a fair price for family? these are advertised on fb marketplace for $100-150 near me. im only about a month into this hobby/side hustle and make mistakes. the one o made came out with a little wobble and it needed a shim.

Bucket top wet/dry vac good enough?

is the bucket top vac good enough to use for tool dust collection? i think the only tools i have right now that can use it are an orbital sander and a circular saw. i think the hose is kinda short but im sure there are ways to extend it or buy something longer.

I have some questions for the planned elevatedcedar picket planter I'm making for my wife

We don't have a yard so this is going on our balcony. I'm not sure if i should follow the free plans i found which have the wood on bottom of the planter all flush to reach other with a free hooked drilled for draining or if i should maybe space the boards out a bit. Which would be better?

Another question is, does it need a lining or is it ok if the fort just did directly on the wood? I already have the lining anyway.

#3 i know cedar has natural properties that make it a good option for this but should i add sealer? Will painting it harm it's natural resistance to rot and all that? What about staining it? Will that take away from its natural properties?

I had a 4th question but now i can't remember it.

1st gen impact driver or wait for 2nd gen

Should i get the 1st gen full size impact driver for $54 or the 2nd gen? Im gen a DIYer but i like the idea of the 4 speed option. Or i can get the compact. I currently have a compact drill driver.

Edit: they are all the HP models

We've always had issues finding studs and today i was able to measure the thickness of our drywall and its 1" thick from the 1970s (if that makes any difference). Now that i know its thicker than usual (i assume because we are in an apartment and its fire resistant?) how long should i get screws? I'm thinking 2" course thread? It's mainly for shelves.
