I have a friend who works for a commercial HVAC company. Prior to that he worked residential. My furnace and AC are both more than 20 years old. I asked him if he does work on the side and he said he did. This is what he quoted me. Can you all chime in and let me know if this is a reasonable price?
I'm considering texturing the ceilings in my entire house. The ceilings are not smooth and do have some hairline cracks. I want to texture to hide the inconsistencies. First, should I fix all of the cracks before I texture or leave them alone? Second, if I use a roller similar to what is in the picture, do I apply the compound with that roller or use a drywall compound roller and then the textured roller following that? Any other prep work I should be doing before I apply the compound? Any other tips or tricks I should be aware of?
Can I check in first thing in the morning and my black card guest check in sometime later in the day? I know you are supposed to accompany the guest, but will doing it this way allow the guest to check in without me?
