Yesterday I was watching a TV series on one of my Apple TV 4K boxes, an episode finished fine and then the next one started but had no sound. Since then, any file that has EAC or DTS for the sound files fails to play any sound at all.

I have a second Apple TV 4K box and it is playing all of the episodes as expected.

The settings on the two boxes seems to be the same and I have tried re-installing Plex, but the same behaviour is here. I have tried forcing it to transcode by selecting a much lower resolution and then the sound works.

I have attached an image of the two play sessions of the two boxes. The one working as expected is able to direct play, while the "broken" one needs to transcode to opus to work.

Does anyone have any idea what might be happening, or a potential fix?

In October 2025 I visited Sao Miguel and rented a car. For one day I went to Ponta Delgada and believe I paid the correct parking, though I may have made a mistake.

Today I received an email from DataRede, S.A claiming there was a parking infraction and I owe €6.60. On the document they sent there is no indication of the date or car that was involved in the infraction. I am happy to pay the €6.60 if it was me, but the document also doesn't tell me how I can do that.

Any help or support in understanding this would be amazing. Thank you.

I live in a property that has regular, short power cuts. This is mostly not a problem as they last for 5 - 10 seconds a time and all my equipment is plugged into a UPS.

However, the ONT for my fibre termination is on the complete opposite side of the property and doesn't have a UPS. As the power draw is so low (5-7watts), I didn't want to purchase a full sized UPS as it feels like massive overkill and aesthetically doesn't help the space.

Does anyone know of a good, small UPS that can be used to power the ONT during power cuts?

5 - 10 seconds of downtime isn't the end of the world, but it takes about a minute for the connection to renegotiate so these regular, short power cuts end up being a real headache.
