I don’t know what’s the issue with weird lighting in the archway rooms, maybe lighting mod or override for windows, anyway here is the Mediterranean Villa I have built in Monte Vista recently. Also it’s one of the first builds I have ever experimented more with terrain tool, I usually just use it to flatten the lot completely or do the garage. But to make the build on higher terrain or something - I have never tried to :D

TL;DR: What should I add to the exterior to make it look a bit better? (I plan to do landscaping soon)

As much as I love Moonlight Falls, I kinda wish for more Victorian, whimsy vibe (especially in the center area) every time I play it. One of my first legacies started in Moonlight Falls so I want to do legacy here again, but this time I want to modify buildings while maintaining the overall vibe of the town, maybe adding a bit more spice. I kinda imagine my version of Moonlight Falls as a mix between gothic, victorian and dark academia vibe. I started with Moonlight Falls library, because that is the element that doesn’t quite feel right for me the most. When I imagine a library in a town like Moonlight falls, I imagine a Victorian building with dark yet cozy vibe inside. Library where everyone wants to go, not purely for the books (or like most of the townies using computer lol) but for the vibe. Like when my sims get more money to buy books, bookshelves, computers etc for themselves - there’s no longer the need to leave the house and go to library, because they have everything at reach. So I want to make every community lot more appealing just for them to go, admire and read a book there, instead of their own house. For now, you can call it beta version (don’t mind lack of landscape, it will happen later when I fully furnish the building inside, for now I finished one floor and honestly I’m so satisfied with myself and how I made it) but I can’t help but feel that the building is lacking something from the exterior. And that’s why I post this. I won’t use any cc for this build cause I want my version of Moonlight Falls to be fully cc free so I could share the buildings and then the full save here so anyone could download it at any time without the need to download multiple cc because I know there also ppl who refuse using any cc or just don’t want to use them too much. And I completely respect that. I would be grateful for any ideas how to make exterior look better (cc-free, and without ideas to landscape because I already know it, I have plans, it will be done as soon as I furnish it fully)
