Well, that's not great.
Looks like I'm tackling the steering head bearing. Anyone done the same on a hexhead r1200r? What else am I likely to find falling apart when I open it up?

My draw shots over my left hip have been lacking some pizazz lately. Not sure what I changed, but they play more like stun shots when I aim to maintain my cue more parallel with the ball. Im closed bridging, applying downward force through my bridge hand into the table, soft grip on the cue, following through into the table and for some reason they've turned into this... Sputtering half draw half stun that always pulls to the right.
If I angle and elevate my cue to strike down through the ball, I can draw linearly back from the point of contact the way I used to be able to draw when closer to parallel.
This situation only seems to be occurring when shooting over the table in this stance. Any other spot on the table and I can still effectively draw from parallel.
Any feedback? Im hesitant to just adopt the taller angle of approach as I feel like I am much less accurate when doing so.
