Making a new build and was able narrow the motherboard to 2 options. I was able to get both boards for around the same price ~$260. I am well aware that there is not much distinctions spec wise between the 2 boards but maybe there is some additional advice that would help with the discussion.

Also I am seeing how much from my previous build i can reuse... not much, but for some reason the older evo 970 keeps getting reconfigured in the M2_1 instead of the 9100 pro? Most likely wont use but interested to know.
