Martini Porsche 961. I kinda based it on the 'Baby' 935, but then the UV mapping really made things difficult for the side stripes. So, I compromised and made it work differently. SC: 161 789 717

I had an idea from someone I follow on IG. It was a Calsonic Ferrari F40. But I also kinda wanted to do a white and blue scheme rather than all blue. SC: 432 911 349

Part 6 of ruining everyone's favorite Group C car. I took inspiration from the Italiya Sports Porsche 962 (the pink and white car w/ Japanese kanji on it). Ngl, this feels more at home. SC: 518 361 474

More Advan liveries for ya! A more simpler idea for the Mazda RX-3 FE that's based around the Liberty Walk Advan livery. SC: 182 780 345

I don't think I'll ever get tired of the Yokohama Advan livery.

Another Yokohama Advan design that I'd come up with for the Nissan R33 GT500. SC: 145 716 886

I had an idea to do my own version of the Advan F40 (different from the Taisan-sponsored version). SC: 111 951 425

I created more automotive sin: turning a Mazda 787B into a Nissan R90C. Well, at least I still kept all the Mazda logos to make it feel like a 'what if?' type livery. SC: 100 561 297

Tire compound or tire width upgrades?

I'm pretty sure this is already known for FH6, that having wider rear and front tires will improve your car's handling. But I didn't really know to what extent though.

Just for context, I tried building a Ferrari F40 Competizione for S2 class; which would mean downgrading the tires to either Rally or Drift compound. The most obvious thing would be to throw on Rally tires, right? (Knowing how OP they tend to be). But this build required sacrificing tire width for compound.

Drift tires, on the other hand, allowed me to go for max rear tire width and one front tire width upgrade. So, can Drift tires with tire width upgrades really beat the "grippier" Rally tire compound?

Well, I ran a couple of laps around Legend Island Circuit to find out. Both builds have the same stock engine and weight reduction upgrade to keep the test as simple without adding any biases.

The results: I managed to set a lap of 1:12.001 with Drift tires. Then for the Rally tires, I managed a lap of around 1:12.6.

I thought it was my driving lines that were off from running the course multiple times. But I felt like the Rally tires with no tire width upgrades are losing time on the medium and slow speed corners. The front tire width upgrade seemed to make steering response sharper (idk how to really put it). So, even if the Rally tires are able to handle more Lateral G's than Drift tires, the width of the front and rears seem to do a lot of the heavy lifting in the corners.

TL;DR: front and rear tire width definitely helps a lot with handling, and not just the tire compound alone.

An Italian supercar, done in a Japanese way?? Well, it was a random idea I had in mind. HKS livery Ferrari F40. Pretty sure I did this back in FH5 lol. SC: 180 368 211

Another Italian livery for an Italian car. This was another one of my designs carried over from FH5, with some slight adjustments from the original idea. 'AF Corse' Maserati MC12 Corsa (171 659 420)

Since this month's playlist is gonna be Italian cars, I decided to go with bringing back two NART designs I did from FH5. Ferrari NART Dino 246 GT and 288 GTO. Sharecodes: 246 GT (346 007 465) and 288 GTO (115 437 044)
