What do you eat in a day?

I'm on day two of 2.5 Mounjaro. I am feeling pretty full still from yesterday.

So far I've had a mini mandarin for breakfast and a tuna and lettuce sandwich cut into four squares and eaten a square every hour or so from 10.

I feel so full and bloated like I've eaten a full meal and I have to remind myself that I've not had that much.

I want to lose weight gradually and not too quickly so I'm trying to eat even though I'm not really hungry. Nutrition and getting enough iron is important to me.

Is this an okay routine so far? Drinking lots of water.

Night 4 on Dayvigo

I've been dealing with insomnia for 3 months, every night. I fall asleep easy but wake between 1 and 3 and stay awake for up to 2 hours before sleeping again.

My doctor prescribed 5mg of dayvigo, with an option to increase to 10mg if needed. She actually gave me 10mg pills to cut in half as it worked out cheaper that way. It's $82 in Australia.

The first 3 nights, nothing happened. I still woke up as normal. No weird side effects.

Last night I was so tired. I had 5mg of dayvigo, a magnesium citrate tablet and a spoon of peanut butter before going to bed. I slept at 9:30pm and for the first time in 3 months, did not wake during the night. I woke at 5am, went back to sleep at 5:20, until 6:45am.

I have a cpap machine so I can see when I wake and sleep.

Maybe it was because I was so tired yesterday, or maybe it finally worked. No side effects at all. I remember my dreams and they were good dreams. Nothing weird happened during my sleep.

Maybe it's working?

Sibo test results - borderline?

Hello,

I recently had a methane hydrogen test done with lactulose. During the test I had my usual bloating and also yellow diahhrea after about 1.5 hours.

The result came back negative as I scored 19ppm after 90 minutes and it needed to be a 20 to be a positive result.

Is this close enough to be a borderline result? I'm assuming I won't be able to get any doctor help as the result is negative, so I'm now researching if there's anything I can take to help my gut.

Symptoms include bloating, alternating between constipation and diahhrea, a lot of burping. During the prep diet on the day before the test, I had two boiled eggs for dinner and that gave me stomach pain and diahhrea.

I have attached my test results. Would appreciate any guidance as I'm just trying to figure out what is causing my issues.

Thank you!

Could I be intolerant?

I've had a few health issues for the last year, such as low iron, severe bloating (huge and hard stomach), and elbow joint pain.

My doctor recommended i cut out gluten and lactose so I did that for 3 weeks. It helped and I didn't bloat which was great.

I tested it by having a big glass of regular milk and I bloated afterwards. Not as hard as it has been, but pretty big. I then went back to gluten and lactose free and then tested with gluten. No bloating.

Yesterday I had a scoop of ice cream at an amusement park and I bloated very soon after. I remember years ago having a creamy gnocchi at a restaurant and had to urgently poo (diahhrea) on the way home. I've often had explosive diahhrea after creamy things like a cob loaf with sour cream, cheese and cream.

I don't always have diahhrea but I've suffered from bloating and burping for a year or so. The bloating is excessive and so big like I am 6 months pregnant.

I also am curious if I have sibo or general ibs. It's really hard to know what it could be. I'd appreciate any insight. Thank you!

Constant low iron

I've been having low iron issues for a while and just wanted to check if anyone knows what might be happening, or have experienced something similar.

June 2025 I went to the doctor for a racing heart. Had some tests and iron was low. I had ferritin of 6 iron of 20.

I had ferrograd c for a few months with minimal improvements and then in October 2025 I had an iron infusion 500 ferinject. My levels improved. January 2026, my Ferritin was 195 and iron 15.

Now in May 2026 I am having similar symptoms. Heart palpitations and it's hard to breathe. Feels like I'm not getting enough air.

I got tested again and my ferritin has dropped a little to 163 and iron is 9.

I am back to taking iron supplements again. What could be causing this? There were other things flagged on the test, like antibodies signifying possible thyroid issues or hashimoto.

I'm so tired of not feeling okay.
