The bait and switch... (got worse?)

Up until this around this time last year, I can honestly say that I hardly ever had any issues with Aliexpress. Many years ago it could sometime take month(s) to receive an order but in recent years delivery has been quite impressive considering overseas shipping.

But when I tried to buy some stuff during a sale earlier this year, everything on ”sale” would get the price hiked during payment. Items from some sellers would get hiked more than others and price comparison was impractical (time consuming as you would only get the real price when you try to pay). The only section that remains honest is their 100-yen shop (not really 100 yen but price don’t seem to change during payment).

And today I found out it was even worse than I thought. After reaching the payment page, I got the usual message that they item I am trying to buy is no longer available at that price and it showed a new, higher total. I agreed to that new price.. but they ended up charging me an *even higher* total than the one shown on screen! I immediately cancelled the order and got my refund, but honestly it makes the platform completely unusable. Is that pretty much everyone’s experience?

Do Xperia phones defaults to Google Photos, or does it have it's own gallery app?

And if Xperia phones have their own gallery app, how good are they at video frame by frame seeking?

Basically, I take a lot of sport training videos, and review the movements carefully frame by frame (not quite literally) to find room for improvement. This is silky smooth on an iPhone using the default Photos apps (but not with Google Photos).

On my Android phones (namely Pixel phones nowadays), I have downloaded and tried a bunch of video playback apps, and they just don't do the job very well. On my friend's Xiaomi phone, their built in video player in their photo gallery seems to do the job pretty well too.

So I am wondering how it's like on the Xperia (that could be one reason to go for it; the other being that microSD would give me a lot more storage space for the videos I take).

Thanks.
