Do these to parts do the same thing?

I’m looking to replace my aux air valve but the original ones are wicked expensive, when I look up the part both of these come up. Do they do the same thing? Pic two is what I have on my van

What part do I need to attach to my stock seats to make them swivel?

I couldn’t find a single thing on the internet about this, my van does not have seat rails, only the swivel mounts. What can I buy to attach the seats to the mounts? I can jimmy rig something together but I kind of do want the swivels. Any ideas?

85 Vanagon won’t idle

I have a 1985 vw Vanagon 1.9 and it won’t idle without my foot on the pedal, it idles fine when it reaches operating temperature. When I unplug the mass airflow sensor it idles rough but it does idle. I cleaned the auxiliary air valve and cleaned the mass air flow sensor. What should I look for next?

What on earth should I do with this switch

There’s nothing behind it but an empty electric box, the kind you’d see an outlet shoved into. Should I try and 3d print some sort of cover? It would be more useful as an outlet on the door side. Any ideas?

What is the problem?

I picked this up from a yard sale today for a few bucks and had the battery switched and shortly after I tried pushing the light button this happened. What is the problem? Is there any way I can fix it? Should I hose it down with wd-40?
It also turns on and off every time I push any button other than the split/reset button any help would be awesome thx

85 Vanagon ticking?

I just replaced my distributor rotor and cap and now it’s making this ticking sound, what is it? Should I be worried about it? I haven’t driven it

How can I best fit 5 of the biggest pentagons into a 12 inch by 12 inch sheet. I would do the math myself but honestly I wouldn’t know where to start
