FT: Chalice (made by u/Regular_Pea27) and Copycat (made by me)

Context: Chalice is a yellow bloon working for the MIB, disguising herself as a monkey as to not stand out
but when copycat walks by her and *doesn't* automatically copy her abilities like he would any other monkey, he gets curious and tails her (lets hope the old saying about cats isn't true..)

Just a quick practice drawing on the side while i get back into the not breaking rule 3 side of things '^^

Wanted to give Wreck the spotlight this time around, with a glue monkey (4-X-X specifically) OC i've had in mind for a while being the secondary character, and Wreck's dad (X-5-X alch) being tertiary

also the first time i've drawn girls kissing for real, will be more of that going forward ;)

Took me several days to finish due to a sudden bout of severe lower back pain (fixed by Ms. 3-0-1 alchemist thankfully ^^) but it's finally here, done and dusted
and with it my first proper OCs! (i don't count "what if i was in bloons?")
i wanted to make a girlkissing doomship so this is what i came up with, a fanfiction writer (not artist), a girl failure, and a stupid little bean
but with the twist that despite having 3-4 doomships under her belt, she actually has a successful relationship with the alchemist (also yet to be named)

we have 3 scenes in chronological order, ezili giving a lecture while unaware her apprentice is in fact NOT listening
her absolutely tism dumping a fanfiction to the alchemist while copycat tries to draw it
and the alchemist staying the night and snuggling with her~

really happy with how this turned out, although i'll probably be taking a break for a more personal project ^^

Hopper (u/redxfur's OC) leaves her station and sneaks off to see her admiral..only to find out she's being WAY too close with her monkey for hire (looking vaguely in their direction)
but awfully bad turns to horrifyingly APOCALYPTIC when she finds out she's getting demoted (why would brickell do this??)

i love the idea that in hopper's mind this is some earth shattering roadbump on her quest to woo brickell, when in reality it's going from 0% progress back to 0% progress

Copycat's main ability is to copy those near him, be it their attacks or abilities (how high of tier he can copy would depend on level)
he'd be able to copy 2 attacks at a time, prioritizing the highest cost within his range (to prevent a free dart monkey griefing your super mines setup and to make it more predictable)
but he only copies the attack, so if he copies a moab domination for example he won't suddenly benefit from primary training
although at higher levels he's able to copy a monkey category aswell, allowing you to apply final harmonic to a tack zone for example

and yes, he can copy abilities, it'd probably be his own level 3 ability
when activated you can choose a tower with an ability like with a tech bot, and when said tower uses that ability copycat uses it aswell like a second later (this is an ability so you can't micro copycat to copy like 15 different ground zeros in quick succession)
quite limiting as you can't really use it with buff abilities, but i believe there's plenty of fun combos
oh right! and he can target another copycat, so in co-op you can create chains where 1 ability leads into another into another into another

personality wise he's mostly a laid back drifter
nihilistic, hedonistic, abrassive, and stubborn, but ultimately kind hearted
oh yeah and adora filed a restraining order against him the instant she learnt of his powers, not wanting to even entertain the idea of him making a mockery of the sun god..
