The banding at the center makes me think it’s glass but I can’t find anything on vintage glass beads like this. It’s heavy and cold, honestly I really love the color, whatever it is. The clasp as you can see from pictures is different and almost seems like it was replaced/repaired.

I used an acid test for the gold beads as well and it dissolved with the 18k solution but not the 14k solution? I only just got the kit over the weekend so I may be doing it wrong :p (please ignore my awful cuticles I love to garden lol)

I started collecting jewelry this year, just small pieces here and there that I like and will hold value to eventually give to my daughter when she’s older. I came across these bangles in a random jewelry lot I bought and wondered about when they may have been made or if it is possible/worth repairing them? My wrists are too big for them but at some point they will fit her so I’d like to know if they’re worth holding onto. Any info is appreciated!

I’m pretty new to the glowing glass community but I wanted to share - I found a tall pitcher and a smaller pitcher over the weekend and I’m pretty excited about them! The hand bowl was too cute to pass up, the details on it are super cool! It even has fingernails haha

Found in a bin of “silver tone” jewelry, the 925 is offset and *very* small, but only the clasp loop is marked. Could this be real sterling? It feels nice and heavy in the hand, I did polish off a lot of the patina though, I’m pretty new to purchasing silver so I don’t know if I’ve done more harm than good there :/
