Expired film in a Rollei A110?

Has anyone ever tried something like this shooting expired film? Any guidance would be more than welcome.

The A110 has no way to select ISO or EV so my limited understanding is that you can still push the film by tricking the light meter. I've got a bundle of 1990 exp cartridges to play with, they were only a couple of quid each so wasting a few isn't a problem. I've cut some graduated obscuring card into small squares of varying obscuration %. The one I'm trying first is around 60%, I've shot the first half of the roll with the light sensor uncovered to compare overall results. It will be a fair few weeks before I get my developing setup so hoping someone can put me right before then if I'm peeing in the wind.

Rubbish pics with the Pentax Auto110

Just dug out my old Pentax, first released in 1978 and I believe it is still the smallest film format SLR with interchangeable lenses ever made. I have 24mm and 50mm lenses too.

Discontinued in 1985 as the 110 format was in decline by then. The scans are from some time during lockdown. The film stock is old, it expired in 1990 and was developed at home.

I still have a load of old unused 110 cartridges, just wish the dev costs weren't so expensive then I wouldn't hesitate to shoot more film. I'm not set up to home dev anymore and even with a set up it is so time consuming.

My little collection of VQ keychains

There are 9 different models in the pic, still a few versions to find too. Can you spot the odd one out?
