I am going with my 13 year old on Friday. For some reason I thought this was rated PG-13, I’ve intentionally avoided any trailers or news about the movie. Is this going to be too gory for him to see? For reference he’s watched gladiator, but I skipped past some of the more gory kills.

There was once a man and a woman driving through the desert to Las Vegas on their honeymoon when they came across an Indian teepee with a sign out front that read:

“Indian with amazing memory inside! The husband says to his fiancée, “What the heck, let’s stop and check it out.” So they go inside, and the man asks the Indian, “What did you eat for breakfast three years ago?” Without missing a beat, the Indian replies, “Eggs.” The man looks at his fiancée and says, “Wow… that’s an incredible memory,” and they continue on their trip.

Ten years later, now married with kids, the family happens to be traveling through the same desert. They spot the very same teepee. Excited, the husband says to his kids, “Your mom and I stopped here ten years ago! Let’s go see if he remembers me.” So the whole family goes inside. Trying to be funny, the husband raises his hand and says, “How.”

The Indian looks at him calmly and replies: “scrambled”

I already have a PS5 and a Switch 1. We play Fortnite a lot and have Mario Kart 8 + a bunch of Switch 1 games with Joy-Cons. Debating if Switch 2 is actually worth it or just an upgrade I don’t really need. Leaning toward maybe the Pokopia bundle, but not sure if Mario Kart bundle is better even though we already have MK8. Mainly trying to figure out if it’s a real upgrade or just hype. Would you guys buy it in my situation?

Anyone else sort of feel underwhelmed by the set? I have all of the other 3 big releases from the last 3 years.. and I have saved for this one knowing it was coming. I’m just struggling on whether or not I want to drop $700 on this. The microscale look just isn’t for me, but I also was so pumped about this. What’s everyone else’s thoughts?
