Fun fact : Sekiro made me a better player at souls game

Long story short I was introduced to souls with Elden ring, I had a coworker who hassled me everyday before the release of Elden ring , at that time I didn’t even know Dark souls or the genre itself. So I took the dive.

Loved that game, pour 200hours with 5 playthrough and platinum. I was not the best though , brute forcing my way and playing magic.

Then I played Lies of P and Khazan , playing at lowest difficulty and got somewhat my way out of them and beating the game.

Switching over to Sekiro I could no longer brute force , I had to get my shit together.

It was a super hard probably the hardest challenge of video game but I kept going and finally beat the game.

This week I returned to Khazan, breezing through the easy difficulty I say why not crank it to the hardest one and it gets me thinking it’s like I was Neo haha I was seeing attacks and dodging became easy and brink guard as well litteraly crushing the game

Same for Lies of P, so I guess I had to go through hell to actually improve haha Fun journey

Khazan's combat was so good that it is hard to do other souls like after it..

I began my journey of Soulslike with Elden Ring first and then I was hooked, I decided that I wanted to do them all.

I did Lies of P which was phenomenal, great story, linear progression (Yes I like that a lot not overthinking on 100 branch maze)

Next was Khazan which I just finished and Platinum it, it was one hell of a challenge but so much fun, combat was the best I have experienced, story was ok, bosses were exceptional. You could parry almost anything and dodge was fluid, responsive.

Now I am at Wuchang : Fallen Feathers and man I mean, I can't get into it, you can only parry attack with weapons, the dodge frame is so slow and I am kind of forced to dodge and sometimes it's clunky

To be honest I have not tried other big guns like Sekiro (which I might like because I like parry a lot), DS3, Bloodborne, Nioh

Have you felt this way about Khazan combat and going back to other Souls after?

Fallen lord set and transition to end game Armor set recommendation

First of all, I am near the end of the game and this has been a truly great experience.

Currently level 125 running a spear build with Fallen lord set

I really loved this set and used it most of my playthrough but want to transition to a better end game armor set, I saw a few choices and but can't make my mind of dropping the Fallen lord and his great bonus to Full moon, Spiral Thrust, DMG boost.

Faded Memories

Golden Armor

Crushed Dreams

My current loop attack is

Phantom Heatwave or Blink Guard - Swift attack (Moon stance)+Potent blow sometimes it activates shadows reverseal - Full moon, Trance and Spiral thrust and sometimes I dump afterimages thrust

Any recommandations?
