When I get into my model X, right as I sit down if I want to get my garage opening while I put my seatbelt on and whatnot and therefore press the garage open button on my screen it usually doesn’t register, something about the door closing seat belt going on seems to disable the garage button for a few seconds. I usually need to press the screen button a few times before it registers. It wasn’t annoying at first but now that I’ve pressed the garage open button on my screen a total of 971 times where nothing happened I’m getting a bit tired of it.

Can we bind a S3XY button to the home link garage door? Like in our app (see photo)

This would probably make more users than just me very happy :) 🙌🙏🤞

My wife got me a commander hub and 2 SEXY buttons for my birthday.

I was excited to install it and get them working.

I installed them and got them working in short order.

Everything worked fine, about 24 hours later I got this error(see alerts screen shot)

I removed the commander, I erased it as a key in the locks tab.

The issue persists - it’s been 2 weeks.

I’ve done both power off and the double button reset, issue persists.

Mobile service tech(here on other business) says it needs to go into the service centre to fix this.

Think this was caused by the commander?

1. Think this was caused by the commander or this was coincidence?
2. If caused by commander - will Tesla service know and charge me for the fix?
3. Any chance I can fix this myself somehow?

I’m nervous this WAS caused by the commander and therefore I won’t be able to use the commander + SEXY buttons after Tesla fixes this. Obviously I don’t want this problem again nor do I want to go back to Tesla service.

Welp, not sure how this happened? It definitely didn’t open into anything. Maybe vibration? I think the door has been vibrating and making a noise when I’ve been driving around.

2024 - maybe this will be warranty covered? How will I prove I didn’t break it somehow..
