My sims are Drexyl Spivey (left) from True Romance and Jackson Lamb (right) from Slow Horses 🤧 Yes, a drug dealer and a secret agent. They're roommates in a Rags to Riches Tiny Town challenge that I'm doing currently. 😭 Ya'll they're so cute, I just love them to death lol
So my channel incorporates my love of fandom with my love of gameplay. Basically, I play with sims modeled after my favorite fictional characters.
I've seen people use 1-3 sec clips of mostly memes and thought it might add some more comedy and tie in my niche even more to do something similar, but with scenes from whichever movie my character is from.
I know there's always the issue of copyright, even with fair use, and I wouldn't be using entire scenes, just 1-3 sec at a time, maybe two or three times per video. I'm a tiny-ass channel, and trying to grow this into a proper income, so I guess I'm just wanting to know if ya'll think I would be shooting myself in the foot if I start doing this.
Any thoughts are welcomed.
I have two sims in two seperate households that I'm eventually going to pair up. They live in Willow Creek, but haven't actually met yet. They have however seen each other at the lounge in Willow Creek when Jovie, my female sim, would go and play piano for tips. I've been playing mostly with Jovie lately as Drexyl (my male sim) is already established with his own house and steady income (I did rags to riches for both). I've been getting her little house set up and having her finish up her senior year at Copperdale High/building her skills for after graduation.
Every few sim days, I would see Drexyl on his morning jog, passing by Jovie's house (she was usually already at school, so he never saw her there) and I would think omg that's so cute! He's passing by her house and doesn't even know that he's gonna fall in love with her 🤧
Anyway, I'm very close to being able to age her up so that she can graduate and start working, so I decided to play with Drexyl today to start working on the strip club that he's going to open.
My eyes literally bulged out of my face when his homelot opened up. Tell me why one of his wants was to flirt with Jovie 😭 Bro, they have never spoken one on one or even introduced themselves to each other. They've literally only seen each other once or twice. I know it's probably due to the fact that they're both playable households in that save file, but I'm choosing to believe that he saw her the first time and was instantly attracted to her 💀
So I just signed up for ytjobs dot co, and I put my own videos (which I edited myself) on my profile. My question is, it's asking me to reach out to the "creators I've worked for" (it's me, ya'll. One is my book review channel, and another is a gaming channel) and I'm wondering whether that's allowed since it's my own channels. Seems a bit dishonest, but idk. Thoughts?
