Aloha all. sharing a single-decade pocket rosary I made with Bayong wood beads from a family business in the Philippines + silver-tone hardware. I’m Filipino American / Ilocano and I made this one in honor of my Lolo. It made me think about the devotional objects that have always been around in my family: rosaries, prayer cards, candles, old photos, and how much gets carried through everyday rituals.
