my o3ds won't recognize the SD card but idk what happened
(Before I start, sorry for my bad english)
So I recently bought and Old 3DS and I got it cracked with a microSD card (with an adapter). I unplugged it several times to back up everything and never had a problem, until last week. When I plugged it into my computer it said that the card was broken and wasn't accesible. I tried to plug it again on my 3ds but it told me the same and I've lost all my games and the progress I had on them (the only things I have left on the console are the miis and 2 or 3 pics)
I tried to get my data back with a program but I couldn't do anything to it, so I just decided to try with a different card, this time a regular size SD card. My computer did recognize it, but the 3ds didn't. My bf told me it probably was because the new sd card was way too modern for the 3ds to read it because there is no way the console's reader got broken, but I'm not sure about that.
I have no idea what happened, I unplugged the sd card from the ds' reader as always, haven't done anything weird or haven't forced it, so I have no idea what happened.
Now, the only thing that matters to me is hacking the 3ds again, I'm gonna try with an older sd card just in case, but I don't think the problem is that one.
In case of the ds' lector being broken, how can i hack the ds again without using an sd card? is there any other way to do it? Does anyone have an idea of what could have happened? Can it really happen that the console doesn't recognize the card for being too modern for it or has the reader just suddently broke?
