Why does the amex BA companion voucher not save anything in this
Looking to use my companion voucher from my free amex, and it appears this flight would cost me the same without using avios or the voucher so i dont understand what saving the voucher brings here? Please feel free to explain like im 5. I have used the voucher 2 years ago to the same destination and only paid £760 i am aware my avois may have been different but just wondering why the total cost with voucher and without is £1340?
