Are my prices too high? Little to no activity on Facebook marketplace

I get little to no views and a message once in a blue moon. Most of the items pictured have been listed since last summer (over a year!). Prices are in Canadian dollars not USD. It’s just crazy how inactive marketplace seems to me. Do I open up a kijiji account at this point?

I thought I was being smart by oiling a new wave+ all over, but it’s still oily no matter how much I wipe it off, any trick to make it dry aside from the pivots?

It is consistently seeping oil whenever I grab it, I haven’t wanted to place it in its sheath since so it doesn’t soak into the nylon(?). Wiping it doesn’t seem to dry it, maybe temporarily. I managed to scratch the outside a bit by wiping it even (guessing leftover manufacturing metal got loose and wiped across). I thought it would be smart and help its longevity to oil it all over while new but im thinking it was entirely unnecessary after the fact (maybe the plier head could have used 1 drop of oil and that’s all). Any way I can dry it out without hurting the pivot points?

Is there any way to sharpen your knives for, say, $30?

I’ve asked this online elsewhere and the two main suggestions where the spiderco sharpener which retails for $150, or the worksafe field sharpener which is $60 in Canada. That seems a bit much just to get a pocket knife blade good enough to slice through a piece of paper..? I know there’s $10 pull through quick sharpeners, but it sounds like those will do more harm than good.

Why is it so slow and hard to sell new items?

I’ve had a variety of new in box Lego sets (among a few other random listings) below MSRP listed for sale for over a year. Little to no activity. I’m being forced to make an eBay account and ship just to sell items below their average value. I live in an area of about 100k population, so I understand if it’s not bustling but it feels like no one is looking to buy anything.

Are these black spots rust beginning? +more questions

This is a new wave+ I’ve had for a week and I’ve noticed some dark spots on the blade that I didn’t notice day 1 and wondering if it is the beginning of rust. The tool has been chilling in the sheath for most of the week so it’s a bit odd. I have some mineral oil should I brush the knife surface with that and a toothbrush? Or would it be better to dip the entire tool in oil and wipe dry? I seen many posts saying a new leatherman is tight to open but I find opening and closing it wasn’t tight from the beginning, although the smaller tools have some resistance to pull out. As far as I can tell it was new in box and not a returned item or anything like that. Also, is it typical for the plier head to scratch up just from opening and closing the tool? Are there any other tips or things I should look out for as a first time Leatherman owner? Thanks

Can any parts tools from different models fit/be used in others?

Ex. Can a signals knife, or alphas scissors fit seamlessly into a wave+? Are there any cross compatibility swaps like that?
Another question, can an awl be used like a package or box opener for models that don’t have a package opener? Or like on the knife less rebar, can the awl do anything a knife can do in general?

Looking for some quick advice on wingman vs signal

I’m looking at getting my first Leatherman. Kind of want to make it a one and done purchase for as long as possible. The wingman is $67 cad and the signal is on special for $146. I like both for different reasons such as the wingman having scissors, but the signal having more than that instead. I’m not sure if I will like the spring loaded pliers on wingman long term or not.One thing about the signal is that long term the parts may be more swappable or modifiable while the wingman doesn’t seem to be so. Is the signal worth twice as much as the wingman? Any thoughts on either is appreciated.

Any small flashlight with clip, like a streamlight but half the cost?

I had a streamlight in the past (lost it) and thought about buying another one but 30$ in my area for a small pen light seems steep. Anything similar but cheaper?
