What kind of spider is this? It doesn’t even look like there’s enough space for another set of legs
I picked him up with a piece of paper towel and he crawled away quickly so I couldn’t get any better photos

The bird drawing is from October 2025, the next two are from July 2026. I have improved quite a bit from that first drawing, but I think this sketchbook will be one I will cherish forever since I’ve learned so much since the beginning. I can see the progress. I’m not the most proud of my first drawings but I wouldn’t be where I am now without them, and I’m sure I’ll look back on my current drawings in the same way.
Anyways, I guess this is your sign to keep drawing! I still have so much learning to do but I’m proud of the progress I’ve made!

I have ran into this a couple of times in moderate traffic where I’m at a green light but the intersection is clogged with cars ahead of me. When this happens I have been stopping at the green light at the stop line and then going when it clears because it doesn’t feel safe to enter the intersection if I don’t know if I can get all the way through before the light changes.
However this almost caused an accident once because I stopped until the way was clear and when it was, the light was still green for me so I started moving through and someone on the opposite side decided to turn left in front of me when I was about half way in. I assume he saw me stopped and thought I stopped to let him go or something? I braked and narrowly avoided hitting this car. There was a police officer behind me who also went through the light after me but didn’t pull either me or the other driver over.
Anyways I guess I’m just wondering if I’m doing the right thing by stopping at the green light if the way isn’t clear
I’m currently reading The Gunslinger by Stephen King and I’m really enjoying the illustrations that are sprinkled in!
Im definitely going to be reading the rest of the Dark Tower series, but other than that does anyone have any recommendations? I like Horror and Mystery mainly but I also am getting into Fantasy and I’m open to any suggestions!
I’ve been listening to a lot of Muse, Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters, The Fray, Oasis, Matchbox Twenty, Lana Del Ray, Keane, Doja Cat & Fastball recently!
