what is this?

even doc didn't know what to make of it. couldn't find much on google. doesn't seem to bother him. ive never seen anything like it. if anyone is confused, its the fifth digits on both front paws and they're pedunculated.

tapeworms

5mo M/l mixed breed puppy presented with lethargy, bloody vomit/diarrhea. still e/d. parvo test was negative. PCV: 8, white mucous membranes

long story short he got a blood transfusion and is now drowning in dewormer. this is the worst case of hooks i have ever seen.

help

my girl is 2 1/2 and she was raised on live prey. ive tried F/T and she refuses it. i hate feeding her live but its all she will take.. every time i feed her it's a stressful occasion for me. she usually does okay. today i fed her and what do ya know she missed the head and got bit. i'm still somewhat a beginner and not that well versed on bite injuries but i'm super scared right now. she was bit on the mid body area and theres no bleeding. the rat never latched onto her at any point but I can see a small bite mark on her. I can't tell if theres an actual tear or just a pressure mark. she never let him go and she is actively eating the prey which i dont know if that's fine but my girl just carried on like nothing happened. i'm a vet tech but my doc only sees small animals (dogs, cats) so i for sure have got to get her to an exotic vet obviously which i know a few great ones but i cant til monday. thoughts please. and how do i keep an eye on the injury til i can get her in if shes hiding/digesting? sorry about the photo quality it was the best i could do..
