I tried TV Preset on Auto but then it chooses HDR10+ over DV which I don't want. Same thing happens if I select Samsung as the TV brand so for now I leave it on manual so I can have DV chosen instead of HDR10+ when both are present.

I have a Samsung TV QN90D so use player led to get DV on it.

When I reboot my am6b+ the wifi fails to connect and I have to manually go and connect to wifi each time after the reboot.

Is there something I can do to get the wifi to automatically connect successfully after a reboot?

Hope someone can help me with some questions I have with my setup 😉

I have the following equipment:

• Samsung 85" Neo QLED 4K QN90D TV
• Samsung HW-Q90D soundbar
• am6b+ with PM4K installed using wifi

My goal with the am6b+ is to play remuxes with Dolby Vision FEL7 (and HDR10+) content on my Samsung TV as the TV does not natively support DV.

So when I am in the Settings/System/CoreELEC screen and it shows all the Dolby Vision settings which options should I enable/configure for DV with a Samsung TV? This is the section I am referring to:

Currently I am using Gladiator, Dune Part 1 and Zootopia 2 to test everything with FEL7/DV. This is what I can see if I show the VS10 info when playing one of these:

What does the red cross mean next to "VS10 & VP" mean? Should this also be a green tick?

Currently I have reset all the Dolby Vision settings back to the default as I wasn't sure if what I had changed was correct or not.

Does anyone else use the am6b+ with a Samsung TV? If you do would you mind sharing what you configured in the Dolby Vision settings please?

I know I need to use player led but just not sure of the specifics I should be setting.

Question: What should I see on the Samsung TVs source info when playing DV content from the ugoos? Will it always only say HDR? I assume HDR10+ will never show?

Update: I couldn't get my am6b+ to connect to the wifi with p3i T3 yesterday (grrr) so I used another USB and installed p3i T3b and that worked! I've installed PM4K. I've got passthrough sound working but how can I check what video format (HDR10+ or DV FEL7 etc) is displaying? I've gone through the video settings but not sure what I should be configuring for my Samsung TV to show DV content?

Wow, was it exceptional! The 4K video and Dolby Atmos sound was incredible.

Can anyone recommend any other music shows like this that have great Dolby Atmos/DTS:X sound?

I currently have Vodacom 200mb fibre in the estate I live in and for the last month the speed is now 100mb or less. Logged a call with them and have received no help/support. The fibre connection has been rock solid for over a year since I signed up and am using the same equipment from day one of them installing it so it is strange that since 15 April the speed halved.

I'm currently considering moving to Afrihost or Cool Ideas for fibre as that is showing as available for the area the estate is in (options are limited from what I can tell). Atomic isn't an option ;(

Pros and cons for Afrihost vs. Cool Ideas?
